Why is it not sold anymore?

Is there a reason why they stopped selling it on steam? I played this game a lot on xbox and i was going to buy it for pc, now i guess will be forced to get it somewhere else which sucks.

You're better off getting the Year-One Survival Edition, just make sure you have a dx11 capable card and not just the dx11 windows software. It's on sale right now at Green Man Gaming for $14.99

this includes the 2 DLCs, where as if you can manage to find a store that sells the original State of Decay, it'll be for $19.99 just for the base game (unless it's discounted or bundled).

The original still works just fine, try uninstalling the game, going into it's old directory and removing any files left over, the way the game is built unpacked files override the .pak ones which can cause major issues. Reinstall after emptying the directory & see if it helps. If not just give more info & I'll try to help.

They promised to support the old one in Early Access and thanked all of their loyal supporters for supporting them through the bugs and promised to make it up to them..
..and then charged them for the last patch.
