Dying Light's saving system is extremely bad and makes the game unplayable if you're casual.
Well. Not "Any shooter". Securiing safe houses, escaping from zombies..i mean infected.. at night and whole means of being trapped in city, waiting for drops with food and meds makes me feel much more in "survival genre" than lets say Deus Ex (Which is shooter and RPG).
When you die, you dont lost too much. Yes, some survival points, but everything else is constantly saved (skill progres, quest progress, even inventory)
So from another point of view, game is saving constantly..
You only have to get to quest area again, yes and I agree with you, that this may be frustrating in some cases, but you move through city quite quickly and because game can be played co-op I dont see how quick save can work with it.
Is it not for casuals?
