Any infinite ranged options?

Are there any costumes like the van crane costume which offer in game benefits? Obviously being able to throw weapons and have them auto return is super nice but I like the bow, crossbow, shurikins, and wands more than throwable melee weapons mechanically. Is there any way to get infinite ammo with anything else or should I just keep buying ammo at every opportunity.

I did notice they usually do but it seems like the arrows despawn so I tend to lose 1-3 per group of zombies.

The standard crossbow bolt persists even if the dead zombie body de-spawns, I generally only lose them if I miss and can't keep track of them or they land somewhere inaccessible.

odd, they never despawn for me.
make sure you don't aim down sights with a bow though, because that makes the arrow pierce through the zombie making it get stuck in terrain sometimes far away and hard to find.

make sure you don't aim down sights with a bow though, because that makes the arrow pierce through the zombie making it get stuck in terrain sometimes far away and hard to find.

Ah maybe that is what going on. I noticed groups go down so its probably getting stuck far away.
Edit: After further test it seems the bow does have infinite ammo if you scavenge for it making it exactly what I wanted. Its also really easy to buy and craft ammo so I will pretty much never run out. Thank you!
