1.The loot in the armory is too much.
2.How Techland advertised the 10 in 12 campaign, because of that, players' hopes got high.
And there's plenty of ammo to refill guns in the final room too.
Another thing to note...
Even if you aren't strong enough to actually finish it... depending on what DLC you have, the ranger bow in particular, this lets you get a military rifle before you even finish your first assignment mission.
You get 3 minutes to loot solo on Nightmare mode. Lower difficulties require lower time for Guru reward and give lower time to loot for balancing, play on Nightmare for most time to loot and highest time limit for Guru that is under 25 minutes.

I agree with the OP and I feel the problem is there that exists in a lot of the game: Not explaining anything.
Some people point out the devs have SAID that it's for advanced players, but why should I have to go OUT of the game and look up a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ player guide/dev talk just to learn about what I am about to do? I get that some people like going into things blind, but the Bozak Horde thing says "This is hard, maybe you should get ready" all the Prison does is "Oh here's a boat, get in?"
This is actual Criticism that all Bints in this thread has missed out on, and it is that this game isn't normally this way, but all of a sudden? Really hard, and you never got a single "Oh btw bring your best weapons"
Another way this could have been set better up is to have the DLC not unlock until way later in the game, honestly I doubt Normal difficulty will ever be worth it, so why even have it early on in a normal game?
Basically, it's all about how the devs do (lack of) handholding and telling you things, and I hope they will do better in DL2.
