The Prison Heist on Nightmare Mode
I’ve been having trouble with this recently, and as far as I’ve seen on the other discussions, everyone else seems to have a breeze with it, though I can’t see how you can get through this bounty without the use of ranged weapons. Anybody have any tips? Is there a way I can bypass some of the minor fights and save everything for the bigger ones?

Sure. Make sure to bring resistance potions, you'll use these in human area / rooms. Also you'll be able to easily chop them off while using it.

Note that you don't need to be on Nightmare mode while finishing that bounty. You can just do it on Normal mode.

Bring cloak potion which you'll use to drink and walk past the goon, lock pick door and close it behind you safely.

In the volatile room filled with virals, simply avoid fight, rush to the door, drop flare and drink cloak potion, this will allow you enough time to lock pick safely and walk past it.

The next areas will be tougher, but take it slow, use support from Legend skill-tree to help you, eventually you'll get it. That being said, if you need help with it feel free to join Dying Light's official Discord server and ask for help - https://discord.gg/Mph8RTg

Adding to BM's advice, in general during the Harran Prison run, it's real important to always take the fastest route. There's only two areas where you have to kill everything in the room to advance. In every other area if you're stopping to fight, you're wasting time.

The first is the "jail" room with all the soldiers, and the second is the last courtyard with the Virals and Demolishers. In general in both rooms, you can use ranged weapons, but I've actually found it easier to use a strong melee weapon, which one or two shots each enemy, and use resistance boosters, and medkits. (It also helps if you can apply Legend points to your melee weapon skill).

As BM mentioned for the jail room with the Goon, cloak yourself and lockpick the door as quick as you can. And as BM also mentioned for the jail room with the Volatiles, cloak yourself for all other zombies, and use a flare, (preferably Zaid's flare), near the locked door, to keep the Alpha/Evolved Volatiles away, as you lockpick that door. For the soldiers in the first outside area and inside rooms, just run by them using resistance boosters. (Tackle the one in the doorway)

Completing[forum.techland.pl] on Nightmare in under 25:00, gets you 3 minutes in the loot room. On Hard, under 15:00, gets you 2 minutes. On Normal, under 8:00, gets you 1 minute. I need 3 minutes to get all chests unlocked and look through some lockers, so I play on Nightmare, but I also have max Legend points for each relevant weapon skill and health category, too.

Finally, for the Phaljibh bounty, if you have a melee weapon which one or two shot the soldiers in their jail room, and the Virals in the last courtyard, then the most difficult part of the run are the last three demolishers, which you can easily defeat from distance, with shrapnel grenades, and still collect the bounty. It also doesn't matter what difficulty you're playing on, and how long you take. Simply completing the bounty without coop or ranged weapons, gets you the Zaghnal.

Good Luck..

I don't think you actually have to finish it within a certain time to actually get the bounty. Just that you finish it at all, even if it took you like 3 hours. To be honest though I find the weapon you get from the bounty to be complete and utter garbage anyway, so you're really not missing out on much if you don't get it.
