Is a Scion able to use 6 Ascendancy points to take 2 sub-masteries?
Like, One Templar and One Witch, for example?

Every character can get up to 8 Ascendancy points - 2 for each Lab completed.
So yes, you can take two "sub-masteries" - it's kinda the unique selling point of the Scion.

Yes. The scion can get 1 ascendency for 2 of the other characters and can also slot the other 2 points into being able to slot points on the passive tree from the respective characters starting point.
