Again, he's always been OP but its just been pure stats. Played all the games since 3 except the clusterfluck of 9. The moveset he's been given this time is way beyond the normal.
For instance DW 8 is recent with tons of videos.
- His grab and slam was definitely in 8, but it wasn't a 50 meter sonic speed charge 1 shot move and it only came at the end of his combo.
- His yell aura move did have red energy but it stopped within like 3-5 feet of him. It didn't shoot energy waves all around him 30 ft out.
- His polearm swipes had the red energy but they were only slightly longer range than normal melee weapons, they didn't fire blade beams out 30 ft.
- etc.
Any Tips? I've got no rice buns left and about 50% health...
Go to one of the bases as the pots there regenerate on restart and it'll replenish your goons to do barrage/charge abilities.
what i see in demo is Art and Tactic (command troop) weapon choice in demo we have type of weapon and Gem system
not sure about full game will be grinding like Empire Version
Overall, I am happy the game has more than just a square square triangle going for it. I suspect they are going to paywall many features, like character customization or hero DLC, since its Koei.
It definitely was a pretty BS fight though, but it was just an additional challenge from the devs. Come full release, you can probably just bonk your way through as usual most of the time. We'll see soon enough, but the gameplay is more similar to Wolong. There's even some elements from Wukong, but mostly with how the perfect dodges work. There's not really much else. What I'm saying is that it will probably be a bit more difficult than other DW games.
As already mentioned, we likely have underpowered gear and levels too. I mean, just on normal, if you take a few hits from some generic officers, you're almost dead already. We might be a level 1 character taking on a map that's meant for level 5-10, or we're a lvl 5 character with lvl 1 gear taking on a lvl 10 map. Meanwhile, Lu Bu may be level 20, considering how tanky he is, but has nerfed damage so that every hit isn't a one shot.
