Outlast Timeline
So I have a hard time figuring out how much time Waylon Park for example spends in the Asylum. I often read people saying that it was probably a couple of weeks due to the condition the Asylum has fallen to since he was caught. But if you look at the date of the e-mail Waylon Park was sending to Miles (17th Sep.) (http://outlast.wikia.com/wiki/The_Whistleblower_(Document) ) and you look at the date Father Martin dies (17th Sep) (http://outlast.wikia.com/wiki/Martin_Archimbaud) you see it is on the same day. That is a bit quick in my opinion.
So any opinions on that?

Miles makes a note and I'm paraphrasing here "May be enough to finally break the bastards" I took this to mean he was already investigating Murkholf and jumped at this the instant he got Waylon's email.

Hmm....Between Waylon's treatment and the time he wrote and sent the email, 2 hours passed. Maybe like 4 hours till he encounters the Groom. In the locker, he stayed in there 12 hours. Until that, he stayed maybe like 18 hours in the asylum already. When Father Martin kills himself, it's already day outside. When Miles arrived, the sun was setting. I would say Waylon was there like 1-3 days.

Yeah right: Already two hours after Parks is cought hell breaks loose in the asylum. Probably Murkoff never wanted it to look like there is a lot of money going into Mount Massive or they just didn't care about the overall condition of the asylum and were just caring about their labs.

Some places (like offices or the labs) look like they are overall in a good condition (apart from the blood and barricades everywhere now) but other places look like they haven't been taken care of for months or years.

Just take a look at the Female Ward. Most of the floors are completely broken and ruined.

Heard Miles go UGHH! more than once on some of those jagged floor boards...

Hmm okay, that might be possible, thanks!

Okay, but what about this: Eddie Gluskin, seen in the beginning b4 Waylon gets caught, and within... let's say 18 hours, Eddie hung all these corpse to the ceiling? Not to mention all the mystery which has created around him as "The groom".
It was probrobly a few hours,Waylon gets caught 2 hours after he sends the mail,(somehow hell broke loose when he was having who knows what.So Miles probrobly came in the night and Father Martin died a little later.Either that or things are a little complicated.

The Groom doesnt have a shortage of people to torture, and he seemed very efficient, maybe he did hang them all up within 12 to 14 hours!

When Miles (that's the guy from the main story right?) climbed in the asylum the place was already full of dead bodies so that means ♥♥♥♥ had already hit the fan. So Park was already running from the cannibal i guess when Miles arrived. then when (spoiler) the bad guy destroys the radio in the prison block, the big ripped guy comes this might mean that miles is already past the prison block and is maybe in the clinic. A while after that you see (spoiler) some Mercs and the doctor dead on the ground this probably means that Miles already escaped the clinic. Then when you walk trough the halways You see the chapel burning this means that Miles left the male wards and is probably in the secret labs beneath the ground. and finally (MAJOR SPOILER) when park enters the loby and the bad guy tries to kill him walrider shows up (now possessing Miles) and he lets you go outside so you can expose everything well this is just what I think and what makes sense to me. I hope it could help and if you see any errors in my explination please tell them to me, thanks.

Remember when we see Father Martin writing "Down the drain" at the wall? That means Miles already arrived and encounter Martin. And he couldn't be far away. Maybe it's the part where he wakes up in one of the cells and the priest prepares everything.

Would be interesting if Red Barrels let us know the exact time line. Would make for an interesting playthrough. Of course if we were to play it the way they outlined it then we would definitaly need Save Slots.

Bear in mind a semi-undisclosed amount of time passed between when you were strapped to the chair and made to watch the Engine. If you notice when they put you in, the cuffs on your sleeves are white, almost blue. But after we're released from the chair, Weylon's clothing is dingy and yellowed.

When Miles come to Mount Massive Asylum, Waylon is already fighting for their own survival.
Base game and dlc are held on the same day.
When we meet father Martin who writes on the walls: "Down the sewers", Miles is already in the asylum.
When we see the chapel burning, Miles, probably, is already become the new Walraider host because we can see special forces everywhere.
