In-game strategy guide

Just read a review of this on Destructoid and it mentioned everything, like boss battles and commentary, but it also mentioned an in-game strategy guide? Do we on Steam get this also? This was worth the $5 for everything you get.

On the Wii U version it is under Extras, but like a few other things, it is annoyingly missing on at least the PC version

For most games, if you open the steam overlay (shift + tab) and look on the right side of the screen it will have community guides. There aren't any out for this version of the game yet, but I imagine there will be in the next day or so.

WHAT it's missing from the PC version??!! Wasn't it an advertised feature on their website? I totally was led to believe that the Directors Cut of DE:HR had a strategy guide- regardless of the platform.

. . . And I would definitely trade that lame, gigantic, white laser-dot which was obviously changed because of the Wii-mote for a strategy guide.

Edit: I knew it! Right on the official site it says there is an in-game guide. And I know they're talking about the built-in strategy guide. And it has logos and pictures for all four releases of the game.

What else is missing from the PC version?

It's advertised as being in all versions of the game.

It's missing. And needs to be included in a patch.

everything i've seen so far says the guide is a wii thing, not seen anything saying it's available on other platforms

You must not have seen their official website, or the video on it, or the post I made earlier with a screenshot of that.

Is anyone else pissed that now they put a disclaimer on their website about the strategy guide and we won't be getting one? I thought I was getting a strategy guide. And not just a separate guide, but one that would be built into the game and possibly even context sensitive to where I was in-game. Seriously doesn't anyone else want that? The least they can do is provide us with standalone digital downloads of the guide.

That would be amazing! Unfortunately, it looks like it's never going to happen. Hell, I would've settled for a simple pdf strategy guide that I could consult on my tablet while playing the game. Is it that difficult to incorporate an in-game strategy guide into the PC and console versions? (I honestly don't know)

tbh i'm more pissed over the missing vita integration for hacking and stuff than i am about a stratergy guide. since you can get the guide for free anyway just by looking around the interwebs

I bought this game today and this Directors cut version is awesome! But i saw too that pc version doesnt have the in game strategy guide and that sucks. I hope they will patch it to the pc version or get it to downloadable someway.

They actually edited the website with that disclaimer several weeks after release because people were complaining that the in-game strategy guide was missing.
