once you've unlocked all the good stuff tho, it's normal to make 50-100k around those blinds with just one hand, far more than you need, so even the extra large blinds are only a SLIGHT challenge, and still very doable.
the more annoying bosses imo are 'your most played hand that you've been working this entire time to build is now useless' and 'your jokers that are your entire powerhouse and you can do nothing without are now useless'. there are some ways around it (like investing in multiple hand types, and building your cards instead of just your jokers) but especially if you are trying to get far into endless mode or working with green-gold stake, it seems like it punishes you for doing exactly what you HAVE to to win.
The Wall will never spawn at ante 1, for example. In fact, only 8 of the bosses can spawn at ante 1. 4 of those 8 are bosses that debuff a suit, so it is a fact that you'll often face a boss that debuffs a suit at ante 1.
Many others can't spawn at ante 2 either. The Ox is even limited to ante 6+.
If you want to look at the details about all that:

Anyway, the answer is that you should in general not be barely clearing small or big blinds on a successful run. You should be crushing them. You might choose to intentionally spend all your hands to exploit certain jokers, but you shouldn't need all those hands to make the score.
The Wall is possibly one of the more likely bosses to fail a run, but it only will do so if your run was already on the edge of failure.
Burglar joker.
