someone claimed that the developer said that you should have 100% clear rate on white stakes once you are good enough, eg that you can mitigate any problem due to how "easy" it is.
Others are claiming after 10 hours they cant win "because of luck" and any talk about skill will be completely dismissed and then make a big huffle about how its all luck and skill cant beat it.
I think that for white stakes its true that you should be able to get a 100% win rate with most decks, on white stakes if you run the same basic builds and doesnt overextent into crazy ideas because you can frankly so easily get multipliers and score cards to win no mater what hand you play.
So tired of devs trying to tell their players how to play a game instead of adressing the problems. I can already tell the dev won't do crap about any feedback unless it's bugs. Game will remain an unbalanced, annoying disappointment.
And for every single person, that says it's just luck and dismisses any talk about skill, you have 10 "get gud" or "skill issue" people who ironically, totally dismiss any talk of luck because either, they had different experiences or, my theory, they are basement dwellers trying to boost their ego in order to not think about their insecurities
Also... getting mult and score cards easily? I mean sure if the shop ever cares to give you some. I'm resetting/restarting/losing more runs, than I get to Ante 3. Heck most of the time it ends in Ante 2 because the first 3 shops only serve me garbage or no jokers at all. So in my personal experience it's no where near as easy, although I guess it's not a matter of difficulty, if the shop simply refuses to give you anything to keep your run going. Point being, the shop randomness ruins more runs than any skill issue out there.
It sounds like you have missed the point of this post. A lot of people (including the dev) believe white stake is beatable with any seed. We welcome you to provide the seed you struggled with and provide insight into how we think its beatable.
As for Devs not addressing the issue, your issue is that it's luck based is it not? If someone else can beat your seed first go and you cant, then its a skill issue and you need to improve, or accept you are bad and enjoy it anyway, or play a different game.
same
Isn't this kind of the point though? You can't get multiplier and score cards easily if the game doesnt throw them your way (and you are out of money). And it already became "most" instead of "all" decks >.>
Regardless of true randomness on IT systems or not if you are "unlucky" you simply wont see certain stuff pop up and I cannot imagine the game is actually beatable on every seed by every deck. That's an insane amount of combinations available and even some of the best randomizers of the most famous games out there aren't able to prevent this completely. You'd have to check for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of discard/turn combinations and remove all the impossible routes.
Anyway. I wish I could provide one just for fun but I haven't played enough seeds to verify if it was unbeatable or just me making the wrong decisions. maybe I'll post one if this thread is still active in a few weeks :) black deck kinda sucks early though. wouldnt be surprised if thats one of the first suggestions you get.
I think its far easier to win without all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ added random jokers, and i beat my game the first run after the tutorial.
So no, tired of this nonsense of "its all luck, you say some jokers hurr hurr" when its pretty much any joker giving any multiplier or any tarot card for any hand you can play.
Most of the people complaining are just skipping jokers that would get them started and complain that its all unfair with no skill.

I don't think I've ever had a seed where getting to ante 3 on White Stake is difficult. At this point I'm not even sure they exist. Having an example of such seed would be nice.
For me it is not about being right or wrong. If you find a white stake seed that can't be beaten by a specific deck, including black deck, please post it here. Doesn't matter if you found the seed while playing or got it from other sources.
I'm confident that at least 99% of seeds are beatable. The remaining 1% is up for grab. Maybe it's 99.8%, maybe it's 100%.
In fact I'd be happy to find an unbeatable seed. We would then know that it's not 100%.
Please, please, please. Post even if it's 3 weeks from now. New threads pop up constantly, old ones get buried fast. Just post and reactivate this thread, it'll be my pleasure to try any seed.
And yes, if such a seed is ever found, it'll likely be with the black deck. But on the other hand, white stake is so easy, at least 99% of seeds are beatable. It's the remaining 1% that is interesting, because we don't know for sure.
And we'll never know until someone finds that seed and posts it somewhere.
Might as well be you, and here, right?
I also think I've seen a mod to search for seeds, I don't plan on modding the game so probably wont bother but someone else might be able to check if there are any impossible seeds and how likely it is to get one.
