I've never restarted. And I might never do it. It's not needed to beat Gold Stake.

I dislike grinding in general. And I don't care about achievements. So I just play every seed and see how it goes.

i only restart my run if i hit ante 2 and basically havent gotten a single item or joker or anything to get a run going.

Enjoy the journey, not the destination. You'll have more fun.

Restarting's not something I do. I take what I get and try to make the best of it.
Pretty much has been this way since the first roguelike/lite I've played and I don't see a reason to change that.

I've never done it. You don't need a joker to beat round 2, you just can't do it in 1 hand (unless plasma or 4oak/straight flush).
