More music?

Really enjoying the game, thank you for this.

Was wondering if we able to get a few extra soundtracks in-game? Would be nice to have a few extra tracks in the game of the same style.

I agree, I love the current track but a few more would be a welcome addition.

It's tricky because, as you might have noticed, there's just one track in the whole game and the music changes slightly depending on which screen you're on. So, either you add multiple static songs that don't change at all (changing the whole vibe drastically IMO) or you need to code every song to be changeable. I'd prefer the second one as it's more interesting/immersive and I wouldn't even mind paying if that was released as DLC. Same with backgrounds, even if they are just swirls/shapes changing colours. They both make this a very unique game but also take much more effort to make.

Yes this game desperately needs more music. There should be a new track per Ante. They should build in intensity as well so 8th Ante feels suitably epic (pun intended). It would be cool if the backgrounds had some more variety as well like the battles in Earthbound.

It's actually multiple tracks in the game, though it does seem like just one. The game seamlessly switches between the different tracks at the appropriate timestamps when you move screens. LocalThunk got a composer to make the music, so he'd probably need to go back to the same composer for a second or third track mix.

+1. Only downside to the game really. I usually play with the music muted because while being ood it becomes too monotonous too fast.

I found this badass hack.

1. Mute the music in game.
2. Go to youtube.com.
3. Play anything you want or even watch a movie.

yeah agreed. the one track is great and well made, but 2 more tracks like that one we have ingame would be amazing (as in slowing down, changing slightely etc.) and other backgrounds would be amazing too

You literally know you can just run anything you want out of game right? I mean i watch movies while playing.
