It's actually multiple tracks in the game, though it does seem like just one. The game seamlessly switches between the different tracks at the appropriate timestamps when you move screens. LocalThunk got a composer to make the music, so he'd probably need to go back to the same composer for a second or third track mix.
this is a great suggestion. earthbound's psychadelic style fits this game really well
I found this badass hack.
1. Mute the music in game.
2. Go to youtube.com.
3. Play anything you want or even watch a movie.

yeah agreed. the one track is great and well made, but 2 more tracks like that one we have ingame would be amazing (as in slowing down, changing slightely etc.) and other backgrounds would be amazing too
You literally know you can just run anything you want out of game right? I mean i watch movies while playing.
