5.5 hrs in, almost finished it (I think, not 100% sure).
Also people really need to start looking at quality/price or quality/hours/price, not just price/hours. If you want to get the most hours for your $$$ then go play one of those generic Free to Play MMORPGs.
This is a high quality, so if any part of it interests you, the music, the art etc. or if you liked Bastion a bunch then yeah, this game is easily worth $4-$5/hour, no doubt. I think with your mindset though, maybe you shouldn't bother. Wait for a sale if you feel that strongly about the price.
And like Altourus was kind of implying, $4-$5/hour for a decent game is plenty worth it. I think lots of people have just developed a kind of warped mindset around game pricing and really need to get out of it.
You could also look at it like, well for example if I worked 2 hours minimum wage in my country that would give me enough to buy Bastion and a bunch of soda and chips or whatever. Was going though that 2 hours I worked worth it to enjoy 5+ hours of a decent game and some tasty food? Yes.
But yeah, maybe do some more research and try find out if you think this is your kinda game. It's easily worth it if you end up liking it.

You must have run through that game skipping almost every encounter.
That's not the fault of the game.
