[Possible Transistor Resolutions]

I bought the game a few months ago, my computer meets the requirements for the game and I've also played other Company games like Hades, but when I tried to run Transistor it came up with a black screen saying it didn't have any minimum requirements to run the game . I got in touch with the developers by email (I was even served very well, I loved it too much <3) and none of the alternatives given worked for my problem, after some time of research I solved it and managed to play, but I realized that for other people it worked from different ways, so here I'll put possible resolutions to run the game.

I want to warn you that the developers have an expercific speech where they put other possible resolutions, so if mine doesn't help Click here and read the game's official forum.

First: There is a boot option which skips the video card check, just use: /SkipVideoCardTest=true

If you don't know how to put it, just go to the game in the Steam library and click with the right mouse button on it, go to Properties, there will be the option "Set startup options".

If the game is slow you can also try using: /Bloom=false /DrawRecursivePaths=false

Second: This one will require you to go to the game's executable folder, usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Transistor, there will be the x64 and x86 folders, just try to run the game you are in in these two directories. If not, try running as administrator.

Just clarifying in one file is the game in the 64-bit version and in the other is the 32-bit version, so it may work for some only the 32-bit version.

Third: This might be weird, but for some people the game worked after taking it offline, it's worth a try.

What you can also do is allow the Steam app as an Administrator, I saw that it worked for some people.

Fourth: In this one just go to the game's executable, create a shortcut to the desktop, then go to the shortcut's properties and edit the "Target" or "Start at" putting /c:...\ at the end. Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Transistor\x64 \Transistor.exe" / C: ... \

Apply this modification and try to start the game. (It's worth mentioning that you try to put it first in "Start In", then in "Destination" and if you still can't, try putting it in both)

Last: As the last alternative I found looking for was to skip checking the minimum system requirements, just go to the Steam Library, go to Properties and Start Options put: -dontForceMinReqs

First of all, forgive me if none of the alternatives helped you, if you have another way to help you can comment on this forum that I'll add here, I just want to help people who couldn't play the game due to some problem. I want to remind you that you can go to the Forum that the developers themselves made showing ways to solve certain problems in the game Click here , thank you for reading and if it works please share so that more people can play this game. Thanks.
