Follow The Fish

[Paradox 42]

So i got the Monster in the Lake quest from Agnes and we went to the lake, went "into the water" and dropped the fish lure. The giant fish showed up and i scared it and it swam to the huge hole.

This is there things are getting messed up. Agnes disappeared (she was with me and just went poof) and when i swim to the location where the hole is, the next step doesn't start.

I've tried restarting the missions around 8 times so far and this same thing happens every time. Any idea how to get around this?

If I remember correctly.. I think Agnes runs back to her location on the shore. You need to go speak to her again to start the next part of the mission where she then asks you to enter the hole.

That npc does in fact say something like "Lets get some air first" or something like that after which she appears on the shoreline. The player then takes the next portion of the quest.

Hint- Make so lights to take into the cave with you. I made them and dropped them to find my way back out.

Indeed! Placing a few cream lights at the cave entrance sure makes finding your way out of there a lot simpler..

I managed to get that part but couldn't find her anywhere. Is there a specific shore she appears on?

I remember having her lost inside the cavern under water and had to swim in, under the shore marker and speak with her there, find my way out again, then reenter the hole to continue the quest. It was a long while back when I first ran through the single player quests, but NPCs would often bug out and disappear under ground or gone completely.

Hint: using the build mode to search for Agnes first and maybe building yourself a 'path' back to her location might help.
