As more im playing the game as more i have dissapointing feeling that RT never had proper QA or hired some third party lame testing company from india which is as quallified as typical india tech support that has nothing to say except for "did you reboot your computer?".

I cant even image how such a bad design decisions and so many bugs and simply lazy done things managed to pass QA and playtesters with positive feedback.

Where should i begin?


  • Game starts from narration cinematics, which ruins climax of previous game and totally spoils new one.
    You old game ends with questions: WILL ZOE and KIAN SURVIVE? ZOe is diying and stuck in "limbo", Kian is sentence to death.

    Wha do you think all players want? WE WANT ANSWERS, WE WANT TO SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT.

    And what do you give us?

    You are telling us in very 1st minute - Zoe and Kian will survive and will be ok, they will meet soon.

    This ruins tension of Zoe presence in limbo, ruins tension of Kian presence in prison, it even ruins tension of Kian being shot.
    Why do you even shoot him if you just said he will be ok and will meet Zoe soon?

    Oh wait, you have not just spoiled these things, you are pretty much spoiled ending of book one.
    Im pretty far from ending since if im sill dealing with bugs, but im now pretty sure, that it will ends when "THEIR PATH WILL INTERSECT"

    "Thank you very much" now i dont even bother and have no emotions and tensions, because i know that everyone will be ok.

    How about adding extra line and saying right in 1st minute of game "Hey, April will be ressurected in the end of chapters!", we already suspect that (since 1st game had old Lady Alvane, which gives some tips about ultimate ending of series), but hey, go further, spoil this, there not much left you have not spoiled yet, so why bother?
    *sarcasm*

    This dumb narrative must be removed from game, for sake of those who still has not played yet.

    You not just apealing to new players (which is bad idea when you making narrative driven game number 3 in a series, which means that most of your fanbase and target audience consist of old players who played series before) but you spoiling everything even for them, your attempt to make game UBERACCESSIBLE ruins game from very begining.

    And none of testers mentioned this???

  • Next thing you spoil, or actually totally ruins - ending of Dreamfall TLJ!
    In a few minuts you DIRECTLY STATE that Zoe was put into coma by MOTHER. that "Be carefull Dad, That is not Reza" ***misterious plottwist sound*** is actually "just a Reza, i dont know why this bumbed into my head". there are no mentions of undreaming, who is unchained, like this not important at all, game forgets about dreamer term, Storytime now acts as some sort of dream land, and game actually retcons Zoe's powers from previous game, which was obviosly not stopping time and lighting lamps in limbo, but telling the story that shapes reality.

    There was interesting concept in Dreamfall TLJ where we realised that whole game past story is shaped in future because Zoe telling it in storytime, and it was her power of making stories she tells a reality, so it was a closed cicle where all the events happens since dreamer tells that, and dreamer ends up telling that because these events happened so reality was shaped from this story and story was shaped from reality, like an uroburos, infinite loop.

    And there narration was adressed both to player and that keeper guy, and it was obvious that in the context of story she sorta acted like a radio station in a dream and this story was supposed to be heard and seen by anyone dreaming, so whole game was just a dream of player who supposed to be any of in-game-world characters in a sleep, or actually all of them and it was important that this anyone could hear her and tell her story someone, keeper asked her to tell her story fast, because there is no time, it was important to let this story happen and let someone hear this story to stop undreaming.

    This gave obvious idea than in a next game we will probably have a new character or at least some plot line where some random character who heard this story (or maybe whole group of characters who heard that in a dream and will wake up remembering it), will do something to help this story progress and probably would help Zoe to get our of limbo.

    Final sequence gave a tip that people who dreaming lucid dream with dreamtime would probably hear that story, probably by dreaming all the events of dreamfall as Zoe tells it.

    New game retcon a lot of this concept, it ruins almost everything! Ruins best ever ending in a history of game industry!

    Instead of keeping telling her story until someone hear it and do something, Zoe inderectly meet people in some chunks of dreams of their personal nightmares, whic kinda merged into storytime?
    This kinda rehashing what happened to Faith - she stuck in a dream in winter, but winder as i remember was not direcly a storytime, it was isolated personal world, which was created by Faith mind because she was actually (as game heaviliy tipped) a twin sister of Zoe and she had same dreamer powers, thats how she created this sub-reality that stucked between worlds.
    Now you telling us that everyone creates part of reality in a storytime (NOT DREAM LAND!!!) with dreamtime machine? Ok... why do they stuck?
    I mean machine was there to suck life essence from people, obviosly, and previous game tipped that they can wake up like a soulless zombie. But here you tell they people just stucking there and cant wake up? They stucking in story time, a place where all the stories makes reality?

    I dont think you follow your own logic from previous ingenius game, and explaination you give now are dissapointing, simple, and not well connected to what we had before, it feels like rather negligent writing comparing to previous game. After 7 years you kinda hope that story going to be well polished, but in reality story fails to follow previous one and contradicts it here and there from very begining

    Ok, but what does Zoe do now? Instead of TELLING HER STORY and exposing truth about WATI, Arcadia and Stark and dreamtime conspiracy related to tower, as keeper said, instead of shaping reality with telling story she just gets into dreams of people and tells them "you will remember nothing but remember this - dont use this device" - and thats it???

    WTF happened with her DREAMER powers of telling lucid story that shapes reality? We she does not even tells her story? She just warns not to use machine? Thats kinda pathetic comparing to what we had in the end before!

    Her powers gave clue that she could ressurect April by telling story, that she could even ressurect herself by this power, but this also mean even if she could get back to real world by telling her story, she must be in a same time at story time keep telling the story about reality.

    Also game tipped that in reality she could be present as a ghost while her body is nearly dead.

    In a storytime you are not dead or alive, you just are! remember?

    There was such a big climax about how many time Zoe body has left to be alive, now you just bring her to live back the cheapest and most dissapointing way possible, and also there was a dopelganger for no freaking reason.
    Where did it even got from? Black lodge of twin peaks? How about bringing dancing midget and Laura Palmer as well? Sure, lets bring evey odd thing in story time without any reason and explaination that justify it!


    So why not replicating Zoe as materialised ghost, that walks amongs living,while her actual body still laying in a hospital and her essence actually sitting near fire in story time and telling the story about her materialised ghost following her new guest to save April Rian and stop undreaming?

    Why not biring even more climax by telling that she only can exist in world while her body is still alive and she must hurry up while she still breath?
    Why not making a tension and intrigue by people having hard times to believe that Zoe could be at 2 places at the same time? Why not making Zoe ghost hide from Wati and mother, who thinks she is still nearly dead and no threat to them, why not suprising them by fact that Zoe both dead and alive and while her body is in a coma, she can still walk around people?
    Why not turning Reza into soulless dummy body that serves WATI and Undreaming and comes to visit Zoe just to make sure she is not alive (which explains why she said ITS NOT HIM)?
    Why directly expressing that it was a mother, instead of keeping intrigue that has tips from prev game about Zoe and Faith was probably atificial creations by "mother and father" (who are both sceintists) and Zoe was just lucky to get out and be adopted by soft-hearted scientist Gabriel and live like a normal human, while she was not designed for this?

    And all of this not my imagination, it just logical consequences of everything that was shown or tipped in previos game.

    Why not following ending logic of previous game? Why cheapen it by telling that all she need to just want to wake up and - boom, she is alive and lives like no ♥♥♥♥ ever happened!
    Why bringin her to live that easy and cheap? Why at least not giving her expiration date for at ime she is pumped with drugs?

    Why after waking up Zoe ait become automatically a treat to her "mother" who put her in a sleep for a purpose? Why WATIcorp and eye aint hunting for her?
    Why she aint a fugitive after wake up? Why Reza is normal again? Why he lives like nothing happened?
    Why everyhing happenes like nothing important happened before? Why absolutely everything from previos game has no consequences now?

    I could have accepted this at least if non of them had memories of anything, but it happenes they clearly remember everything, and yet even with doctor Zoe speaks weird, she aware of events (except for dreamtime) and yet she just lives like its ok, it does not bother her and story telling is now even slower paced than it was in begining of previous game.
    She had such a journey and her character learned nothing at all!

    So many logical mistakes! So many of bad writing right in the begining of game which follows game that was a best written game in a history of game industry!
    This is pathetic! This is anticlimatic, this is not what we expected and deserved after 7 or 8 years waiting for resolution of epic ending of last game!
    After 7 years screenplay should be polished to shine like a brilliant, but it feels dusty and rotten here and there!
    Did Rognar actually was writting it for last 7 years? Or he just started year ago and script was changed little by little to keep up with technical side of development until game stopped to follow rules and logic of previous one?

    Or new story logic and consequences was sacrificed and dumbed down on purpose to make it stand alone and ACCESSIBLE for new players?

    And i cant even imagine how dissapointing story could be later... if it was up to me, even despite game released with story like this i would make a patch that rewrites begining of game to actually follow logic and consequences of prev game and not spoil any intrigue in a 1st 10 minutes of game, because this begining if frustrating, it does not stand quallity of previous game writing, it retcons a lot of previous game, it cheapens prev game and it must be redone a better way (well even falled BioWare redid ending of Mass Effect 3! And CD Project redid about half of Witcher 3 story with enhanced edition patch, so you have to do the same for good)!

  • Gameplay is weak and empty!
    I dont think it was intencional, feels more like RT simply decided to release game without actually finishing making its gameplay, seems like RT was thinking "hey, char can walk and talk, that would be enough, we running out of money and out of ideas, so let release it already and make the money, and hopefull collect some ideas for next episode", but walking and talking was not enough, so in a short amount of time they made a cpeah filler "puzzles" where you have to stop time, light things, look at things and press action button tot do more talking or doing something insignificant that brings more talking, and now they ready to release it!

    Seriosly, about 60% of time i played new dreamfall all i was doing just WALKING (talking about WALKING DEAD inspiration, do they want to walk us to death from boredom?), about 30% was talking, anbout 10% was pressing action button, and "hardest" "puzzle" was picking up pilllow and combining it with stick to get the arrow, which took me about 1 minute.

    TJL \ Dreamfall used to be adventure games likes we loved, and then it took an arrow in a pillow...

    I wish this game to has at least more arrows in a pillow like that than boring walking and talking and doing nothing, watching nothing happens and just listening random dialogs of NPCs.

    Previous game was critices for having less puzzles than previous one and having clunky stealth and combat sequence, it was correct cricismt, but i actually loved that game had effort to be not borring and be quite variable and in times even innovation in genre. Criticism was not actually about having stealth and combat, it was about having them that clunky way we had, meaning that instead of removing that, it just needs to be improved.
    Anyway with some clunkiness Dreamfall TLJ warked quite well and especiialy well it worked in very climatic mix of puzzle, stealth and even combat - i still remember very good missions where you had to be stealthy and yet solve the puzzle at the same time in a maze, cave with that thing you have to follow was amaizing expirience.

    Only very outdated minds of mouse clickers never lowed it because they are lazzy or dummy to walk with wasd and do something else than clicking mouse buttons.

    From the next game i expected more puzzles, more stealth, more open world exploration, less combat but both improved and more new gameplay elements that adds to variablitym and balanced mix of watching story and playing.

    In result WE GOT ALL OF THIS REMOVED, even puzzles almost gone, RT did not folllow criticism logic and done everything wrong, instead of improving was was not working well they romoved it, and they even removed what worked and what people wanted more and did the less.

    What they did - just copied core of gameplay from recent Telltale games, then only difference and the only remaining thing from dreamfall is semi-open world which you are free to explore.

    But unfortunately where there is nothing interesting to do in world like this except for walking (dead) and talking (to wolf amongs us), and this getting borring very soon.

    Game just feel underdevloped, like they just finished more or less levels and story and throwed it out into us without any effor to make a gameplay - we can walk and talk, we can explore world by looking at it (not interacting, there is no much of interaction in it) what else do we need?

    Oh they managed to even screw exploration, and are pretty much encrouragin us to say "screw you" to exploration and run from one story point to another as quick as possible, how? Answer follows in a next major flaw of this game.

    But before this section ends - i think this pointless dopelganger sub-plot that came out of nowhere was only added just to make Zoe awakening a little longer and make an illusion that we actually played to make it happen.


  • Lack of full free saves.
    This game, not like previous titles, ONLY USING CHEAP AND DAMN BAD CHECKPOINTS!
    I dont know if it was bad design decision or actually lazy technical development and inability of RT programmers to implement full save and load of game world, or the simply had not enough time to finish that before releasing game in half baked state, but what i know - this is so freaking annoying and frustratin thing to se in adventura game and it ruins exploration!

    You may wonder around city like 30 minutes (until game crash due of memory leak, but ill save that for later) trigger a lof dialogs, talk to someone and do some stuff like... walking and listening zoe's comments about things and listenting things people tell and reveal you story by this, then you press SAVE AND QUIT to save and QUIT game because you want to sleep or you have to go somewhere or game just crash or power is off in entire house (happens often in my house) or stupid windows autoreboot itself after autodownloading updates, or anything else happens and...

    ...NEXT START YOU START GAME FROM LAST SAVE YOU NOTTICE THAT ALL OF YOU PROGRESS, ALL OF YOUR EXPLORATION AND EVEN STATUS OF CONVERSATION OF PEOPLE ARE GONE!

    You not standing at the place you quit game, all dialogs has to be started from begining, all ncp start over lines you heard before, game just saved nothing besides last checkpoint that was saved before you qui anyway.

    SO words SAVE and QUIT are misleading, its jus a QUIT that SAVES NOTHING, there is NO SAVE FUNCTION IN THIS GAME, saves only happens only at story driver points if you are adventures like me, take this arrow in a knee and stop your adventur, stop exploring wolrd, just run from one checkpoint o another (and you never know where to expect it and whe it happens, the only way i found to make sure that game saved some progress is to enter some building or exit, game seems to be saving part of state when unload one location and loads another, but method like this could lead to point where is no way back.

    This makes people want to explore less, because people value their time and dont want to invest time again into something they already did before. And lack of proper SAVE GAME that WORKS EVERYWHERE ANYTIME AND SAVES EVERYTHING, leads to time wasted for nothing!

    This game absolutely need proper manual saving, that allows to load game from exactly same point at which you saved!
    Without proper manual saves this game kills its biggest different from telltale gameplay - semi-open world exploration.


  • Gamepad controls simply awfull, clunky, counter - intuitive, has low deadzone which lead to drifting camera and walking. Radial selection menu was done least obvious way and so one. You have to stop character to do selection, do 3 presses to performa anything and one of them done with left minstick, instead of puttin same actions as single click actions on same face buttons, If you not holding A button character keeps moving in direction you selecting for action. You cant rebind anything (in old dreamfall you was able to rebind everything from menu, including gamepad, you was even able to swap any axis), you cant use LT and RT at the same time since they threated as half of same axis via old API instead of more modern Xinput and SDL 2 which works right.
    You have about half of buttons unbound and yet devs fail to bind anything effectively and comfortable.

  • UI is huge, floating around the world, cluttering it distructing and breaking immersion in this story which supposed to be immersive.
    Alls these radial menues, desaturated screen and huge dialog secection text promts, all these giant intentory items rotating in full screen when you pick them up, all of these giant popups about BALANCE SHIFTER and THIS ONE WILL REMEMBER THIS - all very annoyting and breaks game flow, breaks immersion, making game less believable, less like movie, less like real life and more like childish arcade game that tries hard to remind you you playing a game... and this happens when there is actually not much to play with.

    Menu options screen has a very strange logic both in terms of design and controls, changing options with gamepad is such a slow and painfull in this game.

  • Camera is awfuly programmed!
    Camera does not save its status, you may zoom in or out, but once you will do any nother thing than walking - it will jump to defaul, and this is so annoying to configure it again and again after every freaking action you do, even after running!

    Why even bother to add camera zoom and switch if does not stay and reset in every occassion?

    There are even worse issues - camera has problems wiht collision of objects, instead of being pushed to this it often ends in going through them (or its collision problem itself?). For example in doctor's office if you will come closer to window camer will go trough it and you will see how ugly and underdeveloped this game is in every corner you are not supposed to see.

  • Game uverusing very ugly DOF effect that blurs just everything in front of you.
    While devs claim its "artistic decision" (excuse number 1 in game industry - whatever is done bad, almost every dev excuse it as artistic dicision).
    When you disable it in option you can see real reason it so heavily used - background, even those that stays close to character are very underdeveloped, low detaild and low res, so DOF just stand there to cover this fact in illusion.

    Instead of covering how lazy done, low detailed and low res backgrounds are - RT should actually put some effort into them and make them looke like everything else close to player. After al lthese bakground not so far away to be that misarable low res.

    To be honest even Dreamfall TLJ backgounds on PC never felt so low detailed and low res and they was never hidden such a cheap and dirty way with extreme dof.

    How about developing backgrounds instead of covering thim by ugly effect?

  • Game has huge amount of very ugly post effects that many people was considering as bug due of the glitchy way they look. THere is a dedicated thread about this issue, where im asking dev to add options to remove all of this, and also made myself patches to disable these effects until devs will come out with official solution.
    Lens flare was so annoying so i personally almos dropped game.
    And all of this just a cheap trend start by JJ Abrams and made popular by Star Trek (people hate it for lense flares, yet devs are resistant to understand that and pushing it and other ugly effect in every game).

    What a twisted logic - instead of spending time on drawing more detailed background they just cover everything by fat layer of postprocessing so we can see the less of how much this game underdeveloped.

  • Many objects has no collision, looks very raw, a lot of objects copy-pasted without any variability (like once you exit doctor there are 2 identical kiosk with chinesse marks on the, however judging by things they talk they are very different and sell different things, but yet you cant tell difference by lookin at them), 2 identical objects standing next to each other and acting like 2 different is clear indication of lazy hack-job.

    When you are in doctors's office - there is a HEAVY RAIN (yet another source of inspiration of this game, where you have almost none of gameplay), when you quit it - there is no indication of rain on a streets, except for PEOPLE STILL WALKING UNER UMBRELLAS!

    I suppose there was rain before and should be but the removed it due of performance issue and forgot to remove umbrellas from people and also forgot to remove it from doctor's office to keep it consistent.

    I never tried to get back to doctor (yet) but i bet 1$ that when ill go back to him THERE WOULD BE RAIN AGAIN!

    When you are in Reza's office please dont look at window, or you will look most ugly and lazy way faking outdoors from isolated indoor locations. You will see low res cube map that does not even remotely reflect of what should be behind that window.

    There are also many things that looks like they supposed to be interactive and interaction was not made or was disabled because it was not finished and did not work well right before release.

    And things like that happenes in every corner, it all feels like devs rushed to release game and forgot to finish and connect so many things, Things just inconsistent, broken or half-baked or lazy-done here and there.

  • game is very glitchy!
    Glitches everywhere! Camera, controls, interaction, saves, options! Even options!
    Many times i happened to be stuck in wrong aspect ratio where my game was stretched or squeezed, or game never switched to resolution i selected. Each time after i press screenshot button game stops to respond to gamepad controls until i press start button and go to menu.
    NPCs getting stuck in walls, some triggers does not activate and breaking progress.
    Game only runs in fullscreen windowed mode which kills part of performance and makes VSYNC impossible in this game.
    There are many objects that has flashing shadows (like every trash bin), or flashing walls with dissapearing texture, missing textures and so on.
    Game has memory leak which leads to crashes once game reach 2048-3072-4096 mb or ram usage (depends from system - 32 bit, 32 bit with 3GB switch and 64 bit) or takes all avaialbe free memory.

  • Performance is awfull - for a mid-looking game it does not run the way it should on video cards like Nvidia GTX 680 with 4 GB of VRAM, and this game does not even have real AA like SSAA, only crappy FXAA that blurs everything, and even high SSAO looks ugly and flickering full of artefacts, and kill performance even more, and thats happens in the ear when Nvidia allows to force HBAO+ in many games via driver and tools like Gedosato offer superior yet fast Ambient Occlusion for any game.

    It seems that game was so rushed so devs did not even started to optimise it (or maybe trash bins that has dissapearing shadows under most of angles and trash on streats that starts rendering only at distance about 5 meters is part of cheap optimisation by cuttng graphics instead of improving code?

  • They cant even keep voices of main characters consistent between games. Zoe is now emo with troat cancer (or maybe she is batman and played by Bale now? WHYDOYOUWANNAKILLME?) and Kian just a generic black gangsta now (i feel like im playing GTA SA).
    Ok, it could be possible that actors was not availalbe, BUT YOU HAVE NOT EVEN TRIED TO IMITATE THEM!
    Even your fav Telltale games, from who you borrowed core of game IMITATED VOICE OF M. J. FOX (who cant act normaly due of desease) FOR BACK IN THE FUTURE! And, Great Scott, new actor in Back to the future game sounds almost exactly like Marty Mcfly from 1985 and that was 30 years ago!

    Meanwhile new voices in Dreamfall charpters does not sound even remotely similar to game that was just 7 years ago! Does not look like much of effort and care has being put into this sequel.

  • Not just voices. even face does not match. About year ago i started thread about ugly new Zoe face, it was improved after this, but yet it still way doo different from Zoe from old game, different proportions and feel.
    Same about Kian and some other characters, who you tried to make more realistic and less cartoonish.

    Buuuut the real problem in this i again inconsistency - why do you try to make some characters realistc, while other are totally cartoonish and grotesque?
    Realisti Zoe and Kian looks weird when other characters looks same as in previous games like keeper from prison and even when new chars like doctor looks cartoonish. It just makes changes of Zoe and Kian unjustified and you contradicting yourself.

  • And one final issue - its not even a full finished game! I could accept part of that half baked state if at least it was a full game release or if game was sold as early access title and reduced price, but no, its just about 1/5 of it for a price of full!

    Dear devs, what was you doing so many years as Fancom and now as RT?

    You cant even release 1/5 of game in finished and polished state after so many years!

    I have nothing against episodic format, i prefer it myself both as gamer and gamedev, because such model allows to improve future episode as well as 1st one and allows to make money to produce next episode and allows to polish better each episode before release if you distribute budget, priorities and development time right way.

    So the whole point of episodes is that you need less time and money to finish part of game and release t in a more polished state, which gives you feedback for improvement, nore time and money for next episodes.

    And you managed to screw up 1st episode harder than many devs screwing fully finihsed games.

    Whats the rush? You spent all the money before finishing episodes? Ok, but there are preorders, arent this was enough? Cant you just delay release for month or three since you obviosly realised that game is HALF BAKED PEACE OF MEAL and you have to cook it longer before serving us?

    Well i know that delays are not in trend for big AAA companies but you are not one of them, you was part of that and now you are separated from Funcom and quite indie, but you still has that AAA evil in you, RT...

Dont get me wrong, i really want to love this game, i really tried, and when it was just released i was so excited, but rage quit game for a week, returned week later to continue and as more i tried as frustrating my expirience with this game was, and im not alone who feels like that. I feel cheater i feel betrayed i feel annoyed, even borred and i feed bad after playing this game and i feel that my last hope in game industry was just ruined!

I never feel anything like that about TJL and Dreamfall, i enjoyed them both (and to be honnest when dreamfall just came out i was not aware that it was a sequel to that game about girl from cybepunk world who appeared in world of magic and dragons, which name i forgot after so many years between Dreamfall TLJ and TLJ, but once i started to play i started to recognise forgotten things and found out that its actually a sequel and replayed oirignal game like a 1st time and i loved both of them and enjoyed them a lot) and i was waiting for Dfreamfall Chapters for about 7 years (or 8?) , i never ever waited any other game like this one, i dont even wait anything else for years anymore since i lost faith in this industry which became so dumbed down, accessible and marketing driven while creativity was almost completely gone from big games (i dont count most of indies, because most of indie games while creative are stuck in mid 90th in terms of production value, and thats a step back, while i want to see games evolved and combine both high production value and high creativity with high quallity).

I dont have expectations for Half Life 3 and dont have any hope for any sequel of any game i loved, to be any good, most of companies are turned into monsters and ruined all of their franchises and changed their prirority from making games that plays and tells story well, to game that sells well and there are not the same things.

The only game that was exception from this was Dreamfall Chapters, it was like a Messiah of game industry for me... WAS but not anymore, because i see now that you did most of things that way others do nowadays - negligent, rushed, careless, trend-following way.

This game has many things to love it for, or at least potential of this, i want to love it, but it has so many game design flaws, artistic design flaws, narrative design flaws, programming and quallity assurance flaws and other flaws that impossible not to hate and that prevents me and others from loving and enjoying this game.

Please, RT, do everything you can and try what you think you cant to improve everything in this game, and i dont mean just next episodes, you have to improve 1st one 1st, not just technically, but from narrative, game and artistic design standpoint, because right now we have a raw draft of game, Dreamfall chapters supposed and deserved to be... and for the Balance, bring back old voice actors or imitate their voices and give us option to disable everything distracting and immersion breaking in this game or i swear godess, I WILL REMEMBER THIS and the BALANCE WILL SHIFT (hope you got my joke)!
Just do it like CD project does with enhanced editions of witcher.

Re: raining indoors and not outdoors, IRL I see plenty of people walking around with umbrellas up long after the rain has stopped. Perhaps some things stay the same in the future. And Zoe jokes about it raining outside only when she's inside if you examine the window in her and Reza's apartment.

But its not about people only, heavy rain you saw indoor just cant stop that fast and there should be traces of it outdoors besides unbrellas.

Where is that list of changes again?

I said only parts of this in different threads where it was related, here i consolidated all the biggest issues of game.

If you dont like that, enjoy your broken game then and keep silence about issues if you will, bu i will talk about i here as long as these issue will be present and untill they will be fixed. People like are the reason so many devs throws out half-baked broken game and run away with your money without fixing anything, because people like you allow them to do that, im not like you and i will not tolerate that.

Someone need to nail issues of game and to criticize it, so that devs could have idea they did something wrong and could have motivation to fix it.

Where does it say "dream land"? In the opening credits and opening cinematic of Chapter 1 Adrift Zoe consistently calls it The Storytime and the cursor says Storytime.
Are you confusing it with mentions of Dreamtime, the name of the Waticorp lucid dreams app?

As for spoiling the ending of -the-previous-game- by revealing at the start that her mother put her in a coma, that was pretty clear in the closing cinematics of Dreamfall TLJ, not really spoiling. Anyway 3rd in trilogy spoiling the ending of 2nd in trilogy, who knew!

A lot of the inconsistencies you mention are Zoe having recovered from a coma and not getting all her memories back, not plot holes. It's 6 months later, waticorp is winning, and who says nobody's looking for her if Reza is spy as you speculate. If he's a spy keeping an eye on Zoe he'd be pretending to act normal, and observing Zoe for signs of her memory coming back.
Her appearing as a ghost at the end of Dreamfall TLJ was just a different portrayal of the same thing, she never had ghost powers, she just appeared by her bed so we knew she was in limbo/storytime?

(btw price is for all episodes / season pass not just "1/5th", if they charged per episode you'd end up with 5 or whatever items in your Steam game list)

I think i heard dream land, but could be my mistake by mixing dream time and the fact that story time now acts as dream land, becuase for some reason people having dreams right in this land.

i mentioned that Zoe only missing memories from story time, she tells about everything else to doctor and yet act like its ok, she knows this information about WAIT, tells it everyone, and nobody hunting her or Reza. Also whose this partial amnesia is quite cheap plot device that only exist to return Zoe ot begining of Journey.

Its same crap as intro scene of Mass Effect 2. How do they can force player who collected party and everything in previous game, to star over again, including face? Oh lets destroy his ship, scatter crew and burn his body, so that player would need to create face again and make a new team.
Same happens here. and its so far-fetched and doesnt count logic of consequences from previous game.

The only problem that the game has is that it is not designed the way YOU want it to be. That doesn't mean it is flawed. Maybe it is not just for you. Developpers won't change their creative choices because you don't like them. You should stop thinking that what you feel is a fair representation of what everybody feels.

For example, I find no problem with the intro. We know this game is about Zoe and Kian stories. They are not going to die in the first book of the game. It's like saying there is no tension in a James Bond movie because we know that he won't actually die.

Voodooman, I'm getting really annoyed by your highjacking of the comments. We know that you don't like the game. Going on and on about it and constantly starting new threads won't change that. And RTG will make the game they want to make, which most happen to like from the critical and fan reaction I've seen so far. They won't change the game to fit your demands no matter how often you post.

The meeting of Zoë and Kian can be considered a spoiler, but it is hardly uncommon in fiction to use this narrative technique. There are quite a few books which start a chapter with a description of what happens in the chapter. The trick is to make the actual happenings surprising. I trust RTG that they'll pull that of.

You have quite a problem with your logic. How is staring your own thread is hijacking of comments? How the hijacking even possible in comments? This is nonsense, if i write comment longer than your and speak open about game problems in threads (mosf of which are started by me, because i dont want to sit on my ass and wait untill devs will understand they did something not right, and want them to be pretty much aware of issues, as well as opening eyes to others who was blind and overhyped about this game, becasue as more complains there would be as bigger the chance it would be fixed - is it so freaking hard to undersand?) it just mean i care more than you and try to change something for better more than you, not hijacking anything,

And in a times when devs prefer to keep silence about issues, ignore people's complains and act cool like nothing is wrong with game - the only way to get their attention and start thinking about problems is to scream loud abou them. Thats how this media works.

And i know it for sure not only as gamer who has some expirience in pushing improvements into some games, but also as gamedev, who was forced to act like that by companies i was working for. So i know their weakness - none of gamedev companies like public attentions to exposes issues of their game, and usually there are 2 ways to deal with that - admit and fix issues, or deny issues and shut everyone talking about them, which leads to rage of customers and hurts reputation of company and sales of game, which is reason why smart and good companies prefer 1st way - admit and fix issues. And thats is my goal - force them to admit and fix issue.

And you cant do this by acting like sissy and telling "oh everything is so great, i love this game a lot, but there is one little issue, that maybe if you will, you can fix, but you dont have to, because my opinion is not important at all and you already got my money, so you can just tell me GTFO, and i would not mind about that, sorry if bother you... oh forget everything i said, the game is just great, Great crashes - so artistic! Great 15 fps performance - there is surely a meaning in this! Great glitching textures and great stucking in a walls - that makes game so unusual! Great retcons and great cognitive dissonance retcons and plot inconsistency gives me, i love to feel discomfort of condradiction! Great lens flares that makes me impossible to see anything on screen - its so great that i dont have to see what actually happens besides those lensesI I am so in love this so there is nothing to complain about, you did a great job. And yeah, there is definetly something wrong with your logic when by readin just 1s paragraph, you taking just one single word with mistake (whic i already admited right above your post) out of context and telling that this 1 wrong word automatically means that everything else, other 999 words are wrong.

Also take a look around - im not the only complaining about these issue, there are way too many people here and there talking about that, and speaking for all of them, by speaking about all issues, and not just speaking but offering better solution and explaining why this is an issue, because many others who complain are not that detailed in their complains and may not explain their point well for devs so they can understand why and what is wrong. And you talk like im the only one.


Oh darwin... statistics - learn some basic principlces of it, and maybe then you will realise how 1 of 100% does not mean 99 of 100, and how to count from 2 to 99, because you definitely stuck on counting 1 for all and all for 1.

And learn to read full posts before jumping to answers, stop doing it just after reading first lines.

How are you highjacking comments? If you didn't notice it, the comment section here is now almost exclusively your walls of text or answers to you.

And I obviously read more than one paragraph, otherwise I couldn't have made the other points in my previous post about your spoiler complaint. I think I made it through about 20 paragraphs.

Also, how is criticising your Storytime argument taking it out of context? That makes no sense at all. It wasn't a typo, you wrote at length about it. And it is hardly the only thing wrong, but certainly the most obvious.

Why should I take a look around to see that you are not the only one complaining? I know that and never claimed otherwise. (And complaints about the performance are obviously valid and have been addressed by RTG.) You are the only one who insists on rehashing the same things over and over again, with giant walls of text that have relatively little to say, though. And you're being rude a lot which most of the other people with complaints are not.

I have no idea what you're going on about in that rambling Darwin paragraph.

Anyway, I'm done wasting my time here.
