Same here, I also have an Xbox One controller plugged in directly through usb. I can manually assign the buttons in the key settings, but that doesn't fix it for the menus.
It says this on the console though:
It's also not working with official Xbox One controllers (at least in my case), so that only solves it for some.
PS. Please fix Logitech F-series controllers on Windows or make it possible to completely remap the controls, as in Dreamfall: the longest journey. I was able to get the controller working with all the actions remapped to it, but there is no way to remap looking around, so you would have to look around with a mouse and use controller for everything else, which is not good at all.
Also, a "reset to deafults" button in the controls options would be nice. I have no idea what the controls were before i remapped them.
And suffer the worst d-pad in gaming history and a gimpy stick layout? No thanks.
Along with the wired Xbox One controller, I also have a wireless 360 controller, which does work in-game. A strange side-effect, is that with the wireless 360 controller on, the game finally recognized my wired Xbox One controller.
I turned off the 360 controller and my Xbox One controller is still working, even after I exited and entered the game again. Strange, I hope they come up with a permanent fix.
