the game will slowly die, it would make the dying faster if nobody spent money on this "game" and its overpriced vehicles bs

Yeah, like most f2p games, but I think they have a chance to prevent that from happening if they focus on more qol in the next updates. I'm not advocating for scrapping new vics or prems, they gotta keep replayability/money coming in. I personally would be happy with less new vehicles for a few updates and more bug fixes/balancing/gameplay issues if you get me. The WT dev team is incredibly talented and I get there's no simple fix to a lot of problems which are incredibly complicated. I think wt has huge potential but I think they need to take a step back and fix it first.
I feel they'd bring a lot of players back if they took this route. Yes, it might slow the wt train down a bit, but the needed upgrades will push it further in the long run.
Just my own two cents.

what is the point in bringing in a crappy sub chaser when there are no subs to chase.....

I hope VR cockpit lighting will be fixed by this next major update. It was broken 2 updates back in autumn 2020 I think.
