"The year before we had been hit with the Nott defense review; they were going to take away our aircraft carriers, our amphibious ships, possibly even the Royal Marines, and the discussion was something like.... we really need a war against somebody just to show the country and the politicians how good we are" Lieutenant Chris Parry. Segment of the documentary "Falklands War: The Untold Story" from 2022... Stop babbling the same lie that British propaganda uses so much to exonerate and victimize itself. No one can deny the military corruption in Argentina at the time, but to deny the disgusting British corruption is hypocritical. Both veterans on both sides deserve respect, but the Brits are definitely not "victims of the aspirations of a corrupt government"
Who attacked who again? And what nationality do the people on the falklands have? The british have a lot of bad things in its history, but at this moment, they werent the bad ones.
