Game locks up when returning to hanger after a match

locks up every two to three matches, im forced to kill with tm and restart the game
any ideas on what it could be?

Can you please first try the options below and see if these fix the issue.

Please update Windows as indicated by both AMD and NVIDIA FIRST. As indicated at their sites - then:

https://wiki.warthunder.com/tag/knowledgebase
Please clear the cache, verify the files and remove all custom content.

If this does not correct the issue, please do the following.

Can you please remove the current graphics driver(s) using DDU (or similar). https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Please ensure that you follow the instructions and use Safe Mode.

Then re-install/install the latest driver(s) and re-test.

In order to investigate issues thoroughly we need ALL the files asked for.
We need the game version, Screenshots of any UI error messages, Replay's(both client and server - if available), clog, Problem Report Files(.dmp), Crash ID and Dxdiag.

After the crash, game shows you a small grey window, like this one: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/my-war-thunder-crashes-as-soon-as-i-enter-a-game-of-any-kind-crash-id-1c45cf3ae1/6336
You have to press "Send and Restart" button to send automatic report. The game will generate DMP and ZIP files, and you'll see Crash ID.

If no Error messages are generated please follow the steps indicated here > https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/20621946908690-Taking-necessary-steps-and-collecting-information-in-case-of-crashes-without-error-messages

We also need the steps to reproduce the issue.

If the above does not correct the issue, then please report it to the Technical Forum here https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder Select your Operating system etc. Or you can report it from the game under the Community tab in the hangar.

my apologies, i miss-spoke when i said locked up, i meant that it gets stuck in the load screen on return to the hanger and idles for as long as long as i leave (left the instance going once to see if anything eventually happened and nada).

ive already reinstalled my graphics drivers (along with my windows install as doing that was overdue too) and the issue persists.

as far as im aware client/server replays wouldnt help as the match is already finished.

build id: 17073969 (after todays update) there was a new update today and im yet to play it
