In order to investigate issues thoroughly we need ALL the files asked for.
We need the game version, Screenshots of any UI error messages, Replay's(both client and server - if available), clog, Problem Report Files(.dmp), Crash ID and Dxdiag.
After the crash, game shows you a small grey window, like this one: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/my-war-thunder-crashes-as-soon-as-i-enter-a-game-of-any-kind-crash-id-1c45cf3ae1/6336
You have to press "Send and Restart" button to send automatic report. The game will generate DMP and ZIP files, and you'll see Crash ID.
Please read and follow the instructions indicated here to create a Crash Dump file > https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/200071181-How-To-Create-A-Crash-Dump-After-Game-Client-Crash
If no Error messages are generated please follow the steps indicated here > https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/20621946908690-Taking-necessary-steps-and-collecting-information-in-case-of-crashes-without-error-messages
We also need the steps to reproduce the issue.
If the above does not correct the issue, then please report it to the Technical Forum here https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder Select your Operating system etc. Or you can report it from the game under the Community tab in the hangar.
Thanks
Everytime it crashes I get that window that gives me the option to send error report to you guys so should have plenty of data by now, but yeah I'm almost 100% sure it has something to do with the latest Windows 11 update. It's probably something you guys can also fix on your end but pretty sure Windows 11 latest version was the catalyst of all these issues. I'm contemplating just switching to Windows 10 instead or back to Linux. Because its not just War Thunder, been having similar issues with Path of Exile 2 where it just hard crashes your computer and its only an issue on Windows 11 (latest update). Assassins Creed Origins game broke completely, crashes after 10seconds in the game, still no fix either. And this is something that thousands of people are experiencing its not just me or a few people.
For War Thunder in happens not always but only there on the end game screen after a match - it loads the first 7 or players in the match and then seems to die.
Further note: Having disabled RTX and all kind of AntiAlias meant instead of hard crashing to desktop and generating a report WT proceeded to run after a console? message about a hung graphic driver and lowering setting.
It might have started to occur after switching to the Nvidia App (RTX 3060) but I don't know if the cause was the switch or Nvidia optmizing some setting my poor GPU can't actually handle
