DX12 Game Crash
So ever since the latest update that brought the M44 and other's; i've been getting into a match then my game crashes. stating that dx12 has stopped or crashed. but I don't run dx12; I run dx11 still.

My PC spec's:
Cpu: amd R5 2600
Gpu: rtx 2070S
Ram: 2x16gb = 32gb

Please if anyone can help that be great or if you need more info lmk

clear your cache in steam, verify the files and turn off the steam overlay. its stopped my crashing with dx12 error after every match.

so delete the cache file or just everything in it ?

Install MSI aferburner and turn power limit a 3-5% down or reduce memory clock 100 Mhz. Old GPUs don't bring their former performace anymore.

if you go to steam settings, and go to downloads, just hit the clear cache option and it'll restart steam and you should be good to go. sorry did not see this post until now.

Yeah, I did that & it seemed to fix it but then I played one of the new maps that came with the m44 update and crashed as soon as I loaded into the match. with the same DX12 crash. so something else has to be going on within the game files. Theirs also got to be a few more ppl that are having the same problem?

Ps: also when the game does do the crash & ask's if you'd like to summit the crash & logs. I said "yes" & it says "the report has failed"

Hi,
Can you please first try the options below and see if these fix the issue.

Please update Windows as indicated by both AMD and NVIDIA FIRST. As indicated at their sites - then:

Please clear the cache, verify the files and remove all custom content.

If this does not correct the issue, please do the following.

Can you please remove the current graphics driver(s) using DDU (or similar). https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Please ensure that you follow the instructions and use Safe Mode.

Then re-install/install the latest driver(s) and re-test.

In order to investigate issues thoroughly we need ALL the files asked for.
We need the game version, Screenshots of any UI error messages, Replay's(both client and server - if available), clog, Problem Report Files(.dmp), Crash ID and Dxdiag.

You have to press "Send and Restart" button to send automatic report. The game will generate DMP and ZIP files, and you'll see Crash ID.

If no Error messages are generated please follow the steps indicated here > https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/20621946908690-Taking-necessary-steps-and-collecting-information-in-case-of-crashes-without-error-messages

We also need the steps to reproduce the issue.

If the above does not correct the issue, then please report it to the Technical Forum here https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder Select your Operating system etc. Or you can report it from the game under the Community tab in the hangar.
