Game crashing more often?
Im experiencing crashing almost every session. expecially after a round has ended and i need to return to the menu it crashes

I'm facing crashes randomly and also getting infinite freeze when alt-tabbing back into game

same here, even after a fresh install, it works for about 2-3 games as it should and goes right back to crashing at the end of EVERY round, in both air and ground.

are any of you using 12-14th gen intel cpu's?

if any of you are using intel 12-14th gen, go to bios and use intel default settings. i had an overclock on my 12900ks and i guess in war thunder after update was no longer stable for it.
After going back to defaults haven;t had a crash. hope this helps anyone.

I have a AMD 5800X3D CPU and Nvidia 4090 GPU and often DX12 crashes since the last 3 days.

Hi,
Can you please first try the options below and see if these fix the issue.

Please update Windows as indicated by both AMD and NVIDIA FIRST. As indicated at their sites - then:

https://wiki.warthunder.com/tag/knowledgebase
Please clear the cache, verify the files and remove all custom content.

If this does not correct the issue, please do the following.

Can you please remove the current graphics driver(s) using DDU (or similar). https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Please ensure that you follow the instructions and use Safe Mode.

Then re-install/install the latest driver(s) and re-test.

In order to investigate issues thoroughly we need ALL the files asked for.
We need the game version, Screenshots of any UI error messages, Replay's(both client and server - if available), clog, Problem Report Files(.dmp), Crash ID and Dxdiag.

After the crash, game shows you a small grey window, like this one: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/my-war-thunder-crashes-as-soon-as-i-enter-a-game-of-any-kind-crash-id-1c45cf3ae1/6336
You have to press "Send and Restart" button to send automatic report. The game will generate DMP and ZIP files, and you'll see Crash ID.
Please read and follow the instructions indicated here to create a Crash Dump file > https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/200071181-How-To-Create-A-Crash-Dump-After-Game-Client-Crash

If no Error messages are generated please follow the steps indicated here > https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/20621946908690-Taking-necessary-steps-and-collecting-information-in-case-of-crashes-without-error-messages

We also need the steps to reproduce the issue.

If the above does not correct the issue, then please report it to the Technical Forum here https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder Select your Operating system etc. Or you can report it from the game under the Community tab in the hangar.
