Game crash issue
I've been experiencing frequent game crashes lately (meaning it closes without any error message and returns to the desktop). At first, I thought it was due to insufficient game settings, but I've set it to low graphics and even upgraded to a 40 series graphics card, and it's still happening.
Later, I noticed that the game crashed more often, and it seemed related to the map. For example, opening the map by pressing M frequently led to crashes, and when vehicles died and returned to the selection screen, crashes were also common.
I've tried deleting the cache folder and verifying the game integrity, but nothing worked. I really want to know what causes the game to keep crashing. I really want to finish a full match....

Hi,
Can you please first try the options below and see if these fix the issue.

Please update Windows as indicated by both AMD and NVIDIA FIRST. As indicated at their sites - then:

https://wiki.warthunder.com/index.php?title=Knowledgebase&oldid=164658
Please clear the cache, verify the files and remove all custom content.

If this does not correct the issue, please do the following.

Can you please remove the current graphics driver(s) using DDU (or similar). https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Please ensure that you follow the instructions and use Safe Mode.

Then re-install/install the latest driver(s) and re-test.

In order to investigate issues thoroughly we need ALL the files asked for.
We need the game version, Screenshots of any UI error messages, Replay's(both client and server - if available), clog, Problem Report Files(.dmp), Crash ID and Dxdiag.

After the crash, game shows you a small grey window, like this one: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/my-war-thunder-crashes-as-soon-as-i-enter-a-game-of-any-kind-crash-id-1c45cf3ae1/6336
You have to press "Send and Restart" button to send automatic report. The game will generate DMP and ZIP files, and you'll see Crash ID.
Please read and follow the instructions indicated here to create a Crash Dump file > https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/200071181-How-To-Create-A-Crash-Dump-After-Game-Client-Crash

We also need the steps to reproduce the issue.

If the above does not correct the issue, then please report it to the Technical Forum here https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder Select your Operating system etc. Or you can report it from the game under the Community tab in the hangar.

Thanks

PS: Can you please read the other threads first, BEFORE starting your own thread on an already discussed topic.

Hello, thank you for your response. First, I'll respond one by one. 1. I have cleared the cache folder, which had about 4GB of files.
I also verified the game integrity and have not installed any custom content.
2.I’m not a computer expert, so I can’t take on the uncertainty of uninstalling drivers, so I might not be able to handle that part on my own. However, I ensure that the current graphics card driver is up to date.
3.My motivation is the latest version as mentioned above.
My game version is the latest available, 2.37.0.96. When it crashes, there’s no error message or crash report window; it just disappears, and Steam's status changes from 'Stop Game' to 'Start Game' immediately.
I'm sorry, but I can't provide any screenshots or recordings of the error window. It happened very suddenly, and even though I was careful not to touch any keys, the game crashed automatically when I was killed by an enemy.
As for the issue report, I'm not sure if the game files can properly record this crash since there were no error windows displayed and no timely logs of the situation. I also rarely see anyone experiencing similar issues online. It seems to have started happening after I upgraded my computer monitor to 2K resolution. I'm not sure if this provides any clues.

I found this article online about a problem with comments that is very similar to mine. The issue seems to be concentrated around the 'map.' It appears that when I'm not even touching the keyboard or mouse, the game vehicle dies, but since I return to the vehicle selection screen, which has a large map, it causes the game to crash. Here is the link I saw: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/game-randomly-crashes-after-dying/44210/6.
