EAC Causing Restarts (Anyone Else?)

Hey, has anyone else had a problem with EAC crashing/not starting or completely restarting your PC recently?

Sound off below so i know im not insane...

one of the sqaudron members has been saying that eac crashes the computer to bluescreen but starting without eac allows them to load in, asked them to check hard drive health and space do the drivers update etc but no error report or code is available because of the complete system crash, so far the only thing they confirm they have seen before a crash is failure to load objects. they were able to load in the other day just fine however.

open to some ideas to help them out.

edit* i should add they are not using the steam platform to play but the downloadable launcher, i have suggested they try the steam version to see if the issue can be replicated.

Why use a steam launcher when wt has it own launcher?

Did you do a file check ?

Actually if your are using Steam you should run the game via the play button.

In your War Thunder install location;
There's a Folder called "EasyAntiCheat"
Open that and run "EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe" as an Administrator.
You will see an Install Panel saying 'Repair Service' in the lower right hand side.
Click that and follow the instructions etc then restart the game
