War thunder not working on my mac?

It stopped working?

2018 mac running lastest os. When clicking on play button it takes you to the gaijin launch page. Clicking play (in red) just takes you back to steam page.
When launching app, I get this message“WarThunderLauncher.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

My dad was just having this issue. We couldn't figure it out, but he uninstalled and reinstalled it and now it works again. I hope this helps

Hello, my dad has been having issues since the latest update. He is new to Steam so I am posting this for him.

He started playing last week and has had no issues. After the update his game will crash and will not reopen (crashes to desktop when pressing Play in launcher, no error message). The only solution seems to be deleting the game and reinstalling, but it has happened several times today already. It seems to only happen in the menu or during the post-game screen.

His specs:
15in Macbook Pro
MacOS 10.12.6 (High Sierra)
2.9ghz i7
Radeon Pro 560

If you go to 'Security and Privacy' in the Settings app, there should be a place to allow your computer to open the app near the bottom of the window, after trying to open the app.

I hope this helps if you haven't already figured it out.

Is anyone having issues with the game not launching on a mac book? I have uninstalled the game and now reinstalling it to see if this helps. I cleared the cachet files also but no luck yet. Any other ideas?
