War thunder VR opens on a black screen on rift S.

So I've opened up the VR client for War Thunder, and it just gets me stuck at a black screen, regardless if I open it up through steamVR or oculus VR. Is there any fix for this?

there might be a problem with your vr maybe play another vr game and see if it plays well?

I use my VR daily. This is not a issue with any other game.

Well I mean that's kinda the reason I posted here, to see if anyone else had a fix for it.

Although I suspect that if you asked some of the community here > https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/forum/604-oculus-rift-htc-trackir-problems-advice/&ct=1597631947 That they may have a more immediate response for you. I do not use VR.

Though I use the Vive I'm having the same issue, for some reason when launching in VR the game doesn't open a headset view so if you try to use it that way it's just frozen, if you have a vive you can pull up the desktop view and run it, for some reason the VR view comes up but the second you close it, it disappears.
Resetting seated position or any kind of movement of the view freezes it.
Along side this it doesn't seem to understand it's being run in VR, since on the vive it brings up console controls and buttons such as: A, Y, B, X, as if I was running it off of an xbox.
As of currently I don't have a solution for this but the root of the problem appears to be the VR window not opening despite it being run in VR with steamVR running (Atleast on Vive) everything in the desktop view is still functional though for some reason.

I actually found a fix earlier today, atleast for the vive. for some reason switching from fullscreen to fullscreen windowed fixes it, idk why but that should hopefully work.
