Lag and stuttering after latest patch - workarounds & suggestions
Hi all,

So many of us have micro lag and stuttering ingame after the latest patch. Lets see if we can help out with some workarounds and suggestions until "SnailGames" release a fix for this.

Problem for me:

1. Every time game wants to load ingame files I get microlag and stuttering without any FPS drops.

2. Free camera look in plane gives high amount of lag and stuttering without any FPS drops.

3. Exploding tank wrecks outside view gives a small lag.

4. Each time an enemy tank or plane gets near outside my field of view I get a small micro lag connected to ingame file loading. This always happens before I see the enemy tank and/or plane.

Workaround:

1. Only workaround I have found so far is to remove all graphic drivers and install older ones. This worked for a couple of days for me. Im playing on GTX1080Ti on my stationary and RTX2060 on my gaming laptop.

2. Can work: Disable G-Sync and change refresh rate.

I post this in the generall section in this forum due to that its not related to any local hardware or issues.

I will update this post with more feedback from you guys further on.

Interesting - just a monitor at 144Hz doesnt mean alone that lag will be gone. The game needs to send at least 144 FPS to the screen. No? But it really helps when you go from a 60hz to 144hz and upgrade from 60fps to 160fps.

Of course. no brainer that higher hz is better. I have not gamed on 60hz since before 2000.... I shudder at the idea. Enjoy your new monitor ;)

only if the game is refreshing fast enough. You cant make a donkey pull a heavy tank

Usually get 120-160 frames. But lately my pc has been weird.

Too many to explain fully. CBA and doubt it will help saying in this group. The agent didn't even bother trying, just said to send it in for repair.
