Reticle template

With the old reticle selection, we could use the in-game menu to save a clean default sight template. The option referenced in the Wiki is no longer there:

game settings → Main parameters → Common battle settings and for the parameter “Use alternative sight grid” select “Add grid sight”.

Could we please get some way to save a clean template again?

Does anyone please have the default reticle saved as a .blk since you no longer can save it? Please

Hey, since we implemented new sight settings, you can save the default reticle under Game settings > Main parameters > Ground vehicle Battle Settings > Sight settings. Then select "Default grid sight" under Reticle.

Hi, thanks for the reply, what you are proposing only allows me to select and apply the default reticle.

With the old systemy you could actually save the full .blk of the default sight and work on it to change it to your liking. It was a good starting point for creating your own sights.

Currently, I only find a way to save a preset, but it's not usable for the purpose of basing a new sight off it. So if you want to create an adjusted sight, you have to build it from scratch :(
