Ambient and immersive background combat sounds
so when ever i'm in a battle i always notice how unnaturally quiet it is especially in maps where it really shouldn't be. so i think for the sake of immersion we need more background sounds that fit more appropriately with specific types of maps. for example when we are in a city map we should be hearing constant cannon/gun fire and battle cries from soldiers from all over the city because irl there would be battles all over the place in a city not just the one place we players fight in.

in addition the battle sounds we hear could be determined by how the battle turned out if the battle ended while both teams still have a considerable amount of people on both sides and one team still has a cap point. then the immersive battle sounds should be ongoing indicating that while the players battle is over the overall fight is still ongoing. but if one team is down to only a few individuals or less then the ambient sound effects will be replaced with very distant gun fire indicating that the battle in the immediate area has died down.

and for open field maps like Tunisia or Normandy we should hear distant gunfire naval cannon fire and bombing sounds and air raid sirens. and similar to the city map suggestion depending on the outcome of the battle. if one team is nearly eliminated then the naval cannon fire should cease and the air raid sirens should go quiet.
