I've made it myself in the past.
Spawn protection does work against planes though. If you're being hunted by 4-5 planes and they're circling spawn, that typically means they have nothing else to hunt, meaning you've already lost. However, if you do still have multiple planes up and you spawn SPAA, first rule is not to shoot the plane actively shooting you if you still have spawn protection up. Instead, look for the next plane ready to strafe. Once you know spawn protection is about to end, get to cover. Be it buildings or whatever, get away from spawn as soon as you can move. Limit the number of planes that can attack you at once. Try to find every active plane you can and try to mentally track their locations as they fly. Always prioritize the next plane that might strafe, but if you can spare the shots consider baiting them by shooting elsewhere.
Depending on the specifics, you can always fight back and most pilots are dumb enough to give you more advantage than they should. Take advantage of that.
Am I defending spawn campers, no. There is nothing worse then spawning in 6 seconds in, and your shot down. If you want to discourage spawn camping the players need to be further apart making it more difficult for those types to get back to the zone.
What I find worse is the constant uptier in matchmaking. I don't mean -1.0 or +1.0 BR I mean tier 2 planes matched regularly vs tier 3, and so on. It might smooth out the horrid matching prop planes vs a team of jets when your at tier 4. If it matched you only in your tier maybe an option box to click so you don't see tiers higher then yourself or lower? It would slow down the time to find a match but I would so use that as still a new player
