instructing all ur sensors to look there.
controls -> weaponery -> "deactivate target point".
this should release them again.
maybe this helps.
I have tried it before and it doesn't help sadly. Even if it did, it's not exactly viable when frequency of which you lock enemies gets higher the closer you get to them. And last thing in my mind during heat of battle is to worry about the laser designator.
Don't need to. Know what your talking about. Iv been using it since got access to targeting computers for jets. Especially when i got access to A-4E and it's smart bombs to operate the TV.
And there shouldn't be keybind overlap since both ACM and radar locking are in different keybinds. Nor explain why the radar in general is able to get a lock on a laser beam.
Think it's simple oversight of simulating the aspects of the jet. What iv seen of DCS the F-14 camera does track enemy jets and this game is doing the same. But something about the laser or radar is programmed wrong and causing the radar to lock the laser beam.
good luck in finding a solution.
