Also the new Su's are the only aircrafts capable of shooting down helicopters at range with missiles, cause of the Vihkr missiles.
A-4E is a Upgraded version from the A-4H and its only 0.4 BR higher
Jaguar GR.1A is a Upgraded version from the Jaguar GR.1 and its 0.6 BR higher
Armaments are major balance point when it comes to ratings. The fact Su-25T / Su-39 are using Vihkr missiles means they have to be 11+ rating (Ka-50[11br]) and the additional 0.3 is there to ensure it's more likely to endup in matches with top tier SPAA ingame, cause the early SACLOS SPAA's (around 10.3) get outranged by the Vihkr AGM's. As they get capped at 8km, while Vihkr has 10km range.
Frankly Ka-50 should be higher as well, with the top tier anti-air moved up from 11 to 11.7. But seems to get ignored cause the average owner isn't getting good with it's lack of thermals.
I get that. It's been suggested that ground and air battles should have separate rating systems like how arcade and realistic does. But Gaijin just scuffed it off and said they tested it out and same ratings where fine to use on both modes.
I would really like to see their test footage where they face AIM-7F's with only R-60M's.
And AGM 65 got a 10km Range and they are not at 11.3
The Mavericks are considerably different from the Vihkr AGM's.
There are two guidance types of AGM-65's available, optical and thermal.
Haven't used IR guided bombs/AGM's, but what iv seen from footage on youtube, it's actually pretty terrible as visibility on the TV view. It's worse then optical one. So the range is rather limited. So cannot utilize the full extent of it's range. And as game goes on tank wrecks should be attracting its attention as well.
The optical variant seems to be the better one in terms of range (better TV view), but it has it's own issues cause of the game limitations. Some months back did test with optical smart bombs cause someone was having issues with them.
While it technically can lock from 10km away, but it tends to lock the ground instead of the target and chances of getting a lock at long distance are non-existent if target is moving even the slightest. And suspect issues are just caused by rendering/anti-cheat and desync.
So it's only really suitable at hitting excessive campers and oblivious SPAA's at long distance
