Practice Area - Test Flight/Drive

First of all... No, custom battles wont do, since AIs spawn reserve vehicles...

Gound Battles:
One thing I'd like is being able to choose against which country you wanna practice, even the same as your vehicle... also be able to choose a tier, like I wanna practice vs tier 1 vehicles, since I know my M24 wont pierce a Maus nor a T95...
And planes to test your SPAA...

Air Battles:
Add at least one ground vehicle of each kind like, light and armored vehicles, the same with the kinds of tanks and pillboxes... instead you gotta take it on your own base/allies, wtf?
Also place an AI Fighter and or Bomber (like the ones flying arround at ground battles)...

Just a thought, cos it limits my decision to buy and research some vehicles... and some times I get really disappointed, like with the RaketeJagdpanzer 2..

new users do not know the game/tanks/planes and can not really test drive/practice due the lack of targets.

sorry, live.warthunder.com right now is not a solution... it is too hard to use and hard to find missions. hard to use, because it is external to the game and require manual instalation. hard to find missions because a new user will never understand what to search.

if live.warthunder.com was integrated to the game, with a top ranking, a "voting" system and install just by clicking it would help a lot... still, the current "test drive" maps are very lacking,
more air/ground/navy (for torpedos and bombs) targets are needed for planes and some air and more tanks for the tanks. in a perfect work, we could select some targets to practice from the plane/tank list would be perfect. Say a limit of 5 planes/tanks slots with a select for stopped, moving in a defined path and shooting AI, like the ones found in arcade.

Besides, you CANT take premium vehicles into custom battle, only test drive/flight.

a part break tool would be nice, so you can test flying with different damaged parts

You can take premium vehicles into custom battles. I'm not sure what makes you think you can't.

You can also create your own custom battles with tier settings to what you want the AI vehicles in (ground and air).
And as others have mentioned, you can download custom maps from war thunder live

I'd settle for respawning and moving targets in the current test drive range. Oh, and being able to see how a tank performs with all modifications active.
