List of unique vehicle suggestions that no one asked for.
It's hard not to admit you've googled a few tanks not in War Thunder yet and thought, "Wow! That would be really awesome to drive!" I would quite strongly be one of those people.

There are so many tanks Gaijin has yet to add for each nation and hopefully one day, Gaijin will fill that gap. I love variety and if it ever came true, no two player lineups would ever be the same again. I am greatly hoping that Gaijin will implement permanent (no-expiry) special tasks that grant players unique tanks, like how you would earn certain titles or decals, but with extra steps.

I both love and main the British tree and was disappointed to find there was no 'derp' cannon until the Battle Rating of 6.7, The FV4005 (Excluding the Centurion AVRE.) My personal favourite British howitzers are the M7 Priest[en.wikipedia.org], Bishop SPH[en.wikipedia.org] and the Sexton (First saw it in Company of Heroes 2)[en.wikipedia.org]. Another super awesome tank (Also from Company of Heroes 2) was the 290mm Churchill MK III/IV AVRE.[en.wikipedia.org]

One thing that surprised me was that there was no 37mm version of the T17E2 AA[en.wikipedia.org]. I was surprised as the turret(s) and car's hull had already both been modelled, just they were on different vehicles. 'Blueprint' pictures of other T17 versions, all of which using a turret currently in-game.[pm1.narvii.com]

Being an Australian I also desire to play tanks my country used or designed during and after the war. Examples being the AC I (with '2pdr' 40mm and hull MG)[en.wikipedia.org], 105mm Australian modified/Manufactured Sherman howitzer[en.wikipedia.org], Australian LAV 'ASLAV'[en.wikipedia.org], Some M113's turned into that of an amphibious light tank[en.wikipedia.org] using the turret of this tank[en.wikipedia.org], in place of the M113's commander hatch.

Australia has also had and used the Leopard, Abrams and various other nation's tanks.[anzacsteel.hobbyvista.com] Since Australia fits under the British tree and already has a modern vehicle tree, it would make sense to incorporate some of these vehicles in, giving some players the option to play their favourite vehicle from another Nation, with limitations obviously.

I love War Thunder and I understand the concepts of modelling and coding game assets, but there are so many vehicles big and small that Gaijin has yet to add. One particular one that British people would note is the Bren Gun Carrier[en.wikipedia.org] most notably in WWII RTS games. Versions of this small tankette/carrier included a 2 pdr gun, hull mounted AT Rifle[en.wikipedia.org], one or six M1968 Recoiless rifles (Similar to the M50 Ontos or Type 60 SPRG.) There was also a version with a PaK 36 AT gun or the Flak 38 Autocannon.

Another few interesting vehicles to consider are:
M110 SPH[en.wikipedia.org]

Mostly the Deacon which would be similar to the YaG-10 but also the other listed Portees, they are unique as they appear to have rear facing but rotatable turrets, akin to 8,8cm Flak-truck and to a more distant similarity, the Valentine Archer.[en.wikipedia.org]

The famous Humvee, notably the TOW missile variant and AA variant.[en.wikipedia.org]

25mm KBA autocannon version[en.wikipedia.org]

Missed playing the BTR?[en.wikipedia.org]

(Technically) Britain's own version of the R3.[en.wikipedia.org]

Both FV light tanks share the same hull. Turret was apparently was mounted on M113.[en.wikipedia.org]

The 101's turret was also mounted on a up-armoured M113 and used mostly by Australian Defence Force.[en.wikipedia.org]

Post war armoured car which also had its turret mounted to a M113, giving the vehicle a double purpose.[en.wikipedia.org]

155mm American derp-cannon (There was another version of this, using a Sherman chassis and American gun instead)[en.wikipedia.org]

Above, but with an even bigger, 203mm gun.[en.wikipedia.org]

The successor to the Stuart and predecessor to the Sherman[en.wikipedia.org]

lots of arguing about the Australian tree when the leo came out, they put it into the german tree because it is german vehicle.
So using the same logic (i've not looked so don't know) if you also had the abram, it will be in the usa tree.

what is strange is they don't do this with everything else, just some.

The rules for this sort of thing seem to be a bit of a mess.

reddit used the leo more of as a way to have a go at all the british.

Personally I'd give you a sub tree and totally understand why you want to play your vehicles.

As a brit I don't want the south african stuff in my tree,
who would want them other than south africans........

We are being called a nation of racists by a princess and then we get the south africans.....just great.

I can understand them putting the South African vehicles in the British tree as it would fit the whole 'British Empire' thing. However, the UDF/SADF was most commonly seen fighting beside or with Britain, Australia or India hence why they have them together. Another example is the Canadian 'Ram' Sherman. The American tree has it which makes no sense because at the time, Canada was part of the British Empire and didn't really associate with the USA aside from trading, so it is surprising they have not moved it over to the British tree yet. There are a lot of inconsistencies in War Thunder, some easily fixable with a quick copy-paste or slight alteration of code. Gaijin should honestly trial some community developers or allow moderator approved community-made maps into the base game.
it would be cool to have north korean MBTs. in the chinese tech tree
