Selling products for 60 bucks and then making them weak after that is scam. Nothing to do with balance as you can balance a product (tank, plane what not) before you offer it for a lot of money, this is known as pre-release testing.
But keep coming up with your made up excuses to defend shady companies and scam offers. This might be a grey-zone kind if thing, but in my and many other peoples book this is SCAM. A legal form of scam.
as said, do your research, it is not a scam, it has always been this way.
again, it is called balance and an attempt to make a fair game.
it is not something new.
Why do you not want a fair game, did you buy something that got nerfed,
did you think you were getting a pay to win?.....oh dear.
you would rather the game is unfair.
At this point you are now just arguing for the hell of it.
When you say things like "my and many other peoples" this just proves that you are now making things up, you have no idea what is going on in other peoples heads.
You speak for yourself, no one else, stop pretending.
next time do your research, don't blame something else like a games company for your actions or lack of.
read the small print.
You justify something by saying it has always been like this lol.
Just because something has been around for long or because a company claims there is a solid reason for such action, does not make it any less scam and inappropriately.
Nerfing vehicles that have just been sold for a solid price is unecessary and a scam, testing can be done beforehand. Simple.
So I agree to disagree, if you dont feel scammed, cool for you, Gaijin needs players like you ;)
EA: Sells a triple A title game for 50 euros, including campaigns, skirmish, multiplayer some even an editor.
Gaijin: Sells one premium tank/plane for 50 euros that gets nerved after a few months and does not make you grind much faster without an extra premium acc.
Yeah. Gaijin couldn't hold a candle to EA's level of greed *sarcasm*
Also, I think what he meant by it not being a new practice is that you, the customer, have the knowledge available to you to realize what will eventually happen to that OP vehicle you are looking at buying.
Personally, I really appreciate that Gaijin (mostly) balances premiums so that they aren't blatantly P2W.
And as for the OP, I don't like many of Gaijin's decisions, especially the financial ones, but calling them the greediest is definitely hyperbole.
EA are much worse than Gaijin. Just look it up, there is far too much to list in here without spending 200 hours typing.
They need to mention that they are going to nerf the tank after I bought it with every process of me transfering money to them.
I was not informed about it, which means this is an illegal activity and I could technically take to court.
Gaijin is not an honest nor reliable game producer and it massively abuses the position it currently is in, being the only game that offers a combination of all those vehicles.
It is just a matter of time until there is a new opponent game arising that is not as greedy or does well with selling one full version and a few expansions. This would be the end of War Thunder.
I mean have you tried playing Enlisted for example`? Also a rip off game and shallow as hell.
This is just wrong
Look at fifa for example. A game that you have to buy every year and nothing really changes, and you are pretty much forced to pay real moeny for packs to even play the 60€ game you just bought.
Or look at Titanfall. A game you cannot even play in multiplayer bc some hacker is using bots to keep anyone from accessing the multiplayer and kicking real players from matches.
And EA is still actively selling the game while not doing anything to fix the issues it has.
Look at battlefront 2, they had to compeletely revamp the 60€ AAA game because the lootboxes and microtransactions were so bad that goverments had to take action.
Look at the sims 4's 640€ worth of DLCs. that you need to own most of to have the full experience
And i could keep on going but i think that even with your intelligence you should get the point.
With war thunder, you can effectively play free for a hundreds of hours before running to the point where you need a premium account.
And even then, its like 3€ a month if you get it on sale
And premium vehicles are not needed for anything, you can play the game just fine without them and not be in any kind of disadvantage
I have never played FIFA so I can not say much about it. Why do you have to buy it every year ?
Everything you listed still seems like a better offer to me than a company asking me to pay 50 bucks for ONE FU....ING TANK that isn't even designed on a simulator battle (no interior and such).
Probably a matter of opinion? I am just pretty sure that if you compare the pricing of features, you get less out of War Thunder than any EA title, DLC or what not.
You have to buy the new fifa every year bc nobody plays old fifa. But you are essentially paying 60€ a year to play a game you already have.
And titanfall is a faulty product, it dosent work
And in war thunder nobody is forcing you to pay for the vehciles in game.
They dont give you any sort of advantage over others, you can play the game perfectly fine without them and without missing out on anything
only thing you need is premium account at around rank 4
but youll have 100+ hours of content before reaching that point
It isnt even matter of opinion, its just that you are objectively wrong here
