I like both but I'm also not deluded into thinking there isn't a stark difference between the two experiences. I really do think they should make a more significant split between the battle ratings even if it's not a 100% distinction.
Here is a really easy to implement tip for you on Tiger II's ok?
Are you ready?
Gitgud.
The Tiger 2 H is ok. I treat it like a medium rather then a heavy because of it's mobility since 50cail protection is better then anything else (no armor is not good just 50cail and lower is good). The long 88 the tiger 2 has can handle everything with relative ease besides IS3 and IS4's (IS3's were meant to be it's Russian counterpart). It's armor can deflect or absorb most not aimed shots. They only real downside is heatfs and it's ammo storage being poor but that's all German tanks, even the leopard (if you don't know what your doing ;) ).
The Tiger 2 P is to me a better tank just because it's a lower br and for me more shots bounce off the mantlet then the H but that's just my time spading the 2 tiger 2's that are not the 105.
Also before the Germany suffers people cry the Tiger H1 is at the correct br because it is extremely weak when not angled and at range AND when hiding the cupola and possibly even hull downed unless you come across a he lobber then it's a 40-60 you will live or die. Tiger E, I don't know, I find it fine at it's br but idk I just don't see it that often and I was a ok tiger H1 player and did not notice anything different about the E outside the cupola not being a problem anymore.
Now idk what the problem was with hull aiming or why people have such a hard time with it but if you want to have the power or the Wehrmacht at it's height play the Sturer Emil as it is one of if not the most undertiered vehicles in the game by a long shot. It is more combat effective then the waffentrager at it's own role. It should be a 6.0 vehicle with it's 128mm cannon and its very unique crew layout. Even as a open topped vehicle HE is only effective if it is a massive round. Planes without bombs or a good rocket strike will have a hard time taking you out due to it's 50mm of armor. It's driver and what should be a co driver are not connected and protected in thick armor compartments from the rest of the crew. Dicker Max's is a smaller less powerful but even lower BR of the Sturer Emil but to me it's on par with the Nashorn.
For most people playing Germans it`s L2P issue.
Read the OP or don't post lest someone get's acquainted with the report button. At this point you're flaming.
It's perfectly reasonable to ask that WW2 tanks not fight modern tanks. This thread has NOTHING to do with "German" tanks, it's about a particular Premium vehicle that happens to be German facing modern tanks when it ought not to.
If you can't argue on those grounds then you're ignoring the Original post so that you can continue to *****.
My favourite WW2 heavy is the IS-2.
Slow heavy WW2 tanks can't compete with most of the post war stuff and when they pen the front of a Tiger 2 like it's butter, I just gave up.
They are like miles ahead in direct comparison with is2 - their most common opponent.
Tiger2 has perfect blend of great armour, decent mobility, good gun handling and godlike pen/damage/reload stats.
It litteraly has no drawbacks like for example is2 with its abysmal reload and nonexistent gun depression.
KT2 is either okish or great in all aspects.
You're so right.
This & a decrease of some repair costs that prevent people from playing really some tanks at some BR.
And just with those 2 points, even the grind in free to play would be more enjoyable.
A lot of the higher tier premium vehicles are basically just upgraded/better variants of their tech tree counterparts.
And yes, ww2 heavy tanks suffer when facing post war tanks, but despite those facts let me tell you something:
- as others have already mentioned, the Kingtigers, when compared to other heavy tanks at the same br, practically the best heavy tanks
- using a heavy tank in a (full) uptier was always a bad idea regardless of the br since the better guns always make the armor pretty much useless (I dare you to play a 75mm Jumbo against a Kingtiger (P) or a KV-1 L11 in a 4.7 match)
In case you, op, have the premium Tiger II as the only tank at its br range then it's the obvious fact you are missing the experience to play in such a tier. Then again, this is also the battlerating German players will the most since they (soon) need to adapt a new play style of the cold war era which often leads to more or less absurd posts that lead to the generation of the well known "Germany suffers" joke
Definitely. Panzer drivers are lemmings, frequently charging in to brawl with agile lights when their guns can kill at 2 km.
Cry harder. Please. We make threads so you post replies that sound like they were written by 15 year old kids that quit school and get GED's to flip burgers. Dig your own grave. It's amusing.
Or, try actually posting something relevant or constructive next time. I won't hold my breath though.
