How many bombs do I need for 1 base?
Hey there, as the admins got pretty mad at me for writing this in an old discussion, I'm opening a new one. Here is my point.

Some useful things:
TNT=Dynamite
Kg=Kilogram
Lb=pounder

I've tried my very hardest to come to an end about this, but I can't seem to find any reliable source. I've seen people complain about the fact that 8 250kg bombs are not enough to kill 1 base, but according to my experience, 4 or 5 are enough at 3.0 or lower.

The general idea that seems to run is that you need 600kg of TNT to destroy one base. Note: TNT kg are different from bomb kg. The bombs are the whole structure of the weapon, while the TNT mass is the pure explosive in TNT equivalent. The problem is that on one hand I see complains about 8 250kg bombs not being enough, but since each german 250 kg bomb(I'm gonna use the german bombs to make my point, but it works more or less with all nations) has 125 kg of TNT in it, and as I said before it seems to be that you need about 600kg of TNT to kill 1 base.

Wait a minute. 8 125 kg TNT charges should be far, far more than enough to destroy 1 base. So why are there players complaining about them not being enough? Could it be that they are ALL missing the target with the first or last bombs? Maybe, but I think it's unlikely. WT has a very easy to use bomber sight, available by pressing F7 on a bomber, and with the "drop bomb series" command enabled it's super easy to drop the bombs in a short period of time.

Also, according to the chart that Gaijin pinned in the official WT forum, the 1000 bomb has 600 TNT kg. You need exactly 1 1000kg bomb to kill 1 base (I tested this over and over again in the VERY recent past, as I built grinded all my bombers in the last month. Yet, Gaijin claims you need "6.355932203" 250kg bombs to kill 1 base. Nonsense.

Let's show the calculus more clearly:

600 TNT kg x 1 bomb = Base killed.

125 TNT kg x 5 bombs = 650 TNT kg. More than the 1 ton bomb. Yet, as Gaijin claims:

125 TNT kg x 6.355932203 bombs = 794.4915253 = Base overkilled, it seems.

What is it then? Do you need 5, 6, 6.355932203 or 1000 250kg bombs? And in pounds, how much is it?

In good God's name, please, make this clear. Also, please make a new chart, and possibly make it available in game (here's the link of the current one: https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/318971-base-bombing-chart/) or at least specify why your maths seems to be wrong.

Thanks for listening.
