Insane grind and changes making it worse is doing more damage than russian bias.
Also, with the incredible mobility this tank has, most Object-279 players will be on the move all the time, making it near impossible to land a good turret ring shot. Also they will most of the time make you explode before you can align your gun to the weak spot below the gun.
Amazing mobility, maybe for a heavy but most mbts at its tier move faster anyway. Those 4 tracks are quite easy to hit and damage, just one broken will competely immobilse the ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Amazing gun that struggles against anything that has armour, with no access to heat at all. Not to mention the god awful depression, which limits the spots you can use (and they're usually within a wide open area perfect with multiple angles where you're completely exposed). Then again it can one shot anything it pens with a fast reload.
I agree they have good mobility, and that armor of theirs looks pretty trolley; but they way they seem to get killed off FAST in my games (playing a lot of the T-62 & T-55) I'm sure glad I didn't do the grind to obtain one.
Also, you guys should post this stuff in the Feedback section, I did as well. That's where they read our feedback.

I've noticed that many people still don't know where to aim on it, whenever I see one in my Merkava I just load the M111 APFSDS and slap a shot through the right most optic from my POV, will either oneshot it by knocking out 3 of the 4 crew members (driver gunner and commander) or disable the breech and engine while also killing the driver, leaving it open for a second better placed shot to kill it.
The 105mm HESH can also be very devastating to the 279 if you hit commander's cupola , kills 2 of the three turret crew and disables and the gun.
Not a lot of vehicles that face it have the luxury of postwar shells though, which is an issue as they are the only reliable way of penning it.
But, just like the Maus it was, built and tested and rejected for being too heavy.
