What is this barrel sight? where do i turn it on?
Instead of the player's gunner view coming from the gunner's sight, it comes from the end of the barrel.
So if you can't see your barrel while in gunner view, you have the barrel sight.
edit: omg i found where to change it to barrel sight, now the game is SO MUCH easier :p
i can now even cover my turret front with bushes
its forced in SB mode.
-big maps
-restrictive views
-no markers
-actual team communication
in reality, tanks had infantry units to walk ahead of them and scout for enemy units
then radio back if they find any targets
Tanks by nature have very poor sight, they are poor scouts and while they can scout, usually its only the light tanks or utility that actually did that
we dont have that in game, except light tanks but they are very limited, maybe you will have 2 of them in a team and even then they usually fail to spot most ambushers.
As a result SB is painfully slow, as tank commanders are forced to scout using their extremley limited options, or risk and avoid coverage while rushing forward
