Proper traverse on some turrets
Recently learned that a lot of Japanese tanks had a traverse similar to MG turrets, both of which aren't properly modeled in-game.

While it was possible to hand-crank them like they're forced to right now, that was just the fine adjustment for precision aiming. Instead of constantly cranking, the gunner in that type of turret would unlock the traverse to be able to quickly swing it around by hand (as the turret was light enough to), and then lock it back into place.
So realistically they would have a significantly faster traverse than they do in game.

It would also be worth looking into what vehicles all had the system. I don't have time now to check, but it's safe to say it was very common in the interwar.

Got perma-banned a few years ago, this is the best I can do.
There's 1 or 2 that pop on these forums

give another forum-er the info so they can official-forum it instead.

Yeah and the Tiger II turret had three speeds and rotated up to 36 degrees per second in high gear.

But that was unfair to IS6 players so it's modeled wrong instead!

we need human loaders to load slower on the move, we need to introduce fuel, we need to make engine RPM affect turret slew rate on some vehicles and introduce a commander sprite to operate the roof MG.
we need a lot of things

That's the downside of turrets like what I'm saying needs to be modeled.
They worked that way because they didn't have a turret basket, and basketless turrets mean the crew is always shuffling around and bumping into eachother.
