on steam itself
steam/settings/downloads
there you can 'manage steam folders'
add your Hdrive and done
right click WT in your library
navigate to local files and it should be the final option
you could also just play from the WT folder itself
w/o steam
You can not verify etc the local files because the game does not appear in the list of STEAM games.
I found no solution, so downloaded and installed the game again from scratch. Everything seemed to work fine for weeks. Then today, the game has again disappeared completely from the list of game, from the history etc.
The game is still in the common folder and when I click the "launcher.exe", the game starts without any problem. But shows that I am not connected to STEAM etc. It is as if I play the stand-alone version.
well im stumped
i would contact steam support :(
While you wait to download it again or whatever you plan to do, remember you can still start the game by clicking the "launcher.exe" file in the directory of War Thunder in the common folder.
and yes i will add what happened to me in your topic. just send me a link to it.
Most probably there is a small bug being triggered and the game loses connection to the STEAM library.
I have opened a ticket in Gaijin support. They answered promptly and they are investigating the issue. In the message I have included the link for this steam forum topic.
