I currently use the Logitech G940 Flight System but I have flown on my friend's Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and I really enjoyed his setup.

In your case, you are used to flying with a mouse so it feels natural and precise. I've been flying with flight systems for years and I find using a mouse very difficult because the nature of my aircraft's movements are not natural as they would be with a joystick/pedals. With this being said, you have to stick with using your joystick for a few weeks until it feels natural to you. It's like riding a bike...except this one has a 2000hp engine and travels through clouds.
Your movements will be jerky for a long time but, eventually, you'll see vast improvement in your manuevering and acquisition of your target.
Things to initially work on (as far as manuevers are concerned): Chandelle, Immelman, split-s, high yo-yo, low yo-yo, rolling scissors, flat scissors, and guns defense.
Oh, and PS: You will never be as accurate on your joystick as you were on your mouse. I suggest picking up an Oculus Rift or TrackIR and playing Full Real Battles so you're guaranteed to be flying with and against other pilots using sticks.

Where is that?? I have a 5 year old logitech 3d Pro extreme (they still make the same joystick today) and it's been a pain setting it up.
You're just being ignorant if you don't believe that the mouse is more accurate than the joystick, and this is coming from someone who's been flying using flight systems for 12 years. SB pilots will dominate any mouse flyer who steps into the realm of SB because of the improved flight physics and lack of spatial awareness that mouse flyers tend to lack; not because the mouse is less accurate than the joystick. Point. Blank. Period.
