Why should I play on maximum/high?
It's like playing with vaseline all over your screen, minimum graphic settings are perfect for clarity especially when playing realistic battles.

I always remove the grass. It helps visibility a lot.

I dunno about the Vaseline thing, I play max settings at 300+ fps and the game looks great. I’m a good enough player that I don’t care about using lower settings for an advantage. I prefer the game looking better.

Damn nice build setup to get 300+ fps at max settings

There is quite a difference in clarity on max vs min.

Personally I despise the ULQ choads who do it just to get a competitive advantage. But, the Snail allows it so there's nothing I can do. I'm far more interested in enjoying how my game looks than I am in my win ratio.

I would suggest that if your game looks like it has vaseline all over the screens something is wrong with your settings, driver or you're playing on a Voodoo 2 card.a

I'd be down to use high/med settings if the snail locked a certain graphic settings in realistic battles. People with toasters can be forced to play arcade if they struggle to run the game in med/high settings.

Also I have a I9 9900K, RTX 2070S. This game at max settings looks like ♥♥♥♥.

Doesn't max settings have TAA by default? That could be causing your blur, switch to HQ FXAA.

It's not about win ratio. The way the high grass (also bushes) is blocking the view in the game is not real. In WT, if you stand behind bushes, you can't see anything, but enemy can see you quite clear from the distance. In reality it is opposite.

Both FXAA and TAA blurs the image same for DLSS, if you want real AA use SSAA or manualy change the render in the config blk

FXAA doesn't blur the image, unless you're playing on something with less than Full HD resolution.
DLSS blurs because it's based on TAA. TAA blurs because it's the whole shtick of this AA method.

If I want minimalism, I play Stellar 7 on the old Apple IIe. :enlightened: I want immersion, thus, I will leave my settings high. :steamhappy:

FXAA is notorious across all games for causing blur/bad image quality.

With the 'movie' settings at 4k with HDR I can see everything in detail with clarity. It was quite the revelation. Locked to 144fps to synch with my monitor it's buttery smooth.

All max, grass off in gunner sight - this is the optimal setting for me :)

All max, grass in gunsight off, easily 120+FPS. Why? Because it is beautiful
