If you don't know what that is, turn to 3 or 9 o'clock relative to the missile on your RWR so you are showing it your plane's belly, hold that heading for a second or two, then do a turn to some other direction. Because you are flying horizontally to it the radar will have a hard time tracking you and will likely redirect toward chaff you're firing.
if the missile is coming from above you, you want to rely on multipathing or the terrain (hiding behind a mountain). the lower you are, the better, since you can still get hit from splash damage. the aim120 has a lot of explosive mass, so even if it misses you by a good amount, you can still take damage
if its not coming from above you, you can notch (perpendicular to the missile) and chaff in clumps of around 3 or more. make sure to also change your heading, since they use inertial guidance. if you stay on the same path, the missile might not be actively tracking you, but it will follow your last known path and still possible kill you.
you can also 'go cold,' which is completely turning away from the missile. this works best when you are far enough away, and can also be coupled with hugging the ground
this goes for all ARH missiles
