Old Guard Title

I've played war thunder early enough to have the old guard title and when ppl see it and know what it is they usually accuse me of having bought the account.

Personally I don't think it holds much value.

its up to you, if you are so sensitive to randoms on the interwebs who you dont know and will likely never meet again accusing you of things they have no proof of perhaps you should not use it, because nothing anyone says here is going to stop it if this is a common issue

or like me you could just ignore all the hate, what does any of it actually matter

Old Guard just means you created an account when War Thunder was relatively new and nothing more. Even a player that has only played a handful of games can have that title if they've had their account since at least 2013.

In the grand scheme of things, it's a Title that can only be used by a subset of the playerbase, but it has next to no value imo as it doesn't have any particular notable achievements tied to it. Fine Art Expert (unlock 150 decals) has more of an achievement weight than Old Guard does.

likely just some dude being salty that you've been playing the game longer than they have lol.

the earliest title i have is faithful warrior since i started the game some time in 2014 but really its just a title. there isn't anything particularly valuable about having any of the titles its just a way to show off how long you been playing i guess.

Titles are meaningless. Had Old Guard and such. But if you've played that long, you realize this game is good, but held back by a scummy company. Deleting my account never felt more life-validating.

I've only experienced the scum side in Enlisted, where they release a premium vehicle then they nerf it once their satisfied with how many sales they've made.

I almost never notice or pay attention to any titles. It's shocking people would:
A) Notice That
B) Care enough to make accusations about it

I love the 'Old Guard' title. I've been playing since the very very early days. I have seen the literal development of the game from a baby to a grown adult as it is right now. People are bullying you because they might be jealous or something else, just ignore them.
