You should revert back to previous and then sort things out before you reintroduce BattleEye again
On the other side I really get your point. But I never gave ban for nothing until I played my first EAC protected game DbD. Where I got ban and when I proved that their ban was for no reason they apologised taht they cannot remove it from y steam profile, because it would ruin good name of their company. So I got copy of DbD on Windows store plus lost DLCs. Never happened to me in games with BattleEye.
Well, your CMs better tell bvvd, he need go to BattleEye, tell them rent some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers within China Pan-Asia and CIS or even Africa and South America, getting sick of this 'Starting BattleEye service, updating...' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with Google servers in Escape From Tarkov, now with Warthunder too? Everyone actual understand anti-cheat basic know most effective anti-cheat is local police raid (Not possible with globe service online games), EAC or BattleEye make no different in actual but let players with little anti-cheat knowledge think Gaijin care about this (which not). But if BattleEye can't let green players into the game, Gaijin will be fked (good to see), if you CMs getting pay from Gaijin your paycheck will suffer soon too. And don't reply, I will notice when BattleEye fix it or Gaijin rollback to EAC.
What about removing EAC?
The folder is still there. Will it be removed automatically as it is no longer needed or do I have to do it myself?
Hi! Keep it for now - once everyone has transitioned to BattlEye (as not everyone has fully yet), we'll delete the unneeded files in a game update.
This is a problem and BEs response is to supply a method that if done wrong can damage your install of windows.
(I.E. First of all, ensure that Driver Verifier is disabled on your system as it is currently known to cause problems with BE. You can find how to do so here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/244617/using-driver-verifier-to-identify-issues-with-windows-drivers-for-adva.)
The Link in the example from the BE FAQ does in fact Not relay instructions on how to preform said disable rather a full documentation of the verifier. This verifier if not set correctly can lock out windows and required drivers will not boot (I think), the system will then need the OS to repair itself resulting in lost windows default files. if set to be disabled does not effect the issue. This is something they have to fix and as long as the refuse id suggest caution with Battle eye.
