This is stupid for many reason the first is that a small rock or fence can cause the nonrendering. Another reason is it does not apply to both players. Also if this works how come you can do a 3rd person peak around corners.
I have brought up these concerns dozens of times and Gaijin ignores it completely and my posts typically only get a few people chiming in to support me asking Gaijin to change this.
It exists because there is no reason you should know about a tank on the other side of the city so having data about it in a players client, even if not accessible during normal play opens up much more avenues to cheating. A wall hack doesn’t work if your game client doesn’t know the tank exists in the first place
The tuning and bugs come in most likely due to how computationally expensive ray tracing is, there is reason real time ray tracing is such an advertised feature of modern gpus, but it still tanks performance when turned on. So calculating exactly what you can and can’t see at any time is very much in need of work
Just throwing it out entirely, not a chance
Oh, I thought it was only me, and that is because I am having real connection issues. My ISP is sending a technician over today. Yes, I have had encountered enemy vehicles that didn't seem to have rendered. It was suddenly just there after my vehicle was destroyed and I was hiding behind a corner waiting. The enemy vehicle rendered after it destroyed mine.
Pretty dumb if that's the case. As every WT veteran would agree, if you can see the other player in third person, even slewing over objects or peeking around corners, the other player should render.
Games are all about strategic use of good enough solutions where real physics just takes far too much time and processing power
I am genuinely at a loss what you are trying to convey here, if you copped a ban you did something to earn it and derailing this thread to talk about it and another unrelated bug is not doing much to convince anyone of your ability to follow even the most basic rules and etiquette
equating this to being nothing but random chance speaks more to your own failure as anything but a blunt instrument, it takes a trivial amount of extra care looking around at all angles to account for this bug if you even notice it day to day at all
Solution is don't try to pull ULQ cheese tactics, turn up your graphic bud
