Report a translation problem
clans already use superior software like discord etc
if they did put in the effort to actually make it as good as those stand alone products why wouldnt they make it stand alone
so you would be asking them to waste developer time (ie money) making an inferior product which the most dedicated players wont use anyway
nevermind the fact that people cant even follow simple rules in the text based chat, it literally had to be removed during certain periods where real world events that shan't be named were occurring but people wouldnt shut up about and gaijin didnt have enough staff to handle the flood of reports
hello there, i asked it already, but i got funny comments on that where kids just saying no and its disgusting. well ofcorse if they wont change anything then nothing happens? just think twice guys, before you write some stuff like above me. they should make voicechat more visible, and good designed. +adding a radio chatter effect would make the game more fun and intence. and they should add a easy option to mute some people who trolling in voicechat.
for the others, if you dont want it then just mute voice chat, where is the problem? these comments are so under 10IQ
This guy had LOUD german music on...
here is the kicker: This guy was not even in the game ......
For the curious, he had Du hast & Erika on a loop.
If you want to make the game more teamplay focused, make people care about having your team win instead of just desperately trying to get a kill or two before dying and then leaving.
Aside of that, i see no Problem for VoIP.
Also to the other People, you dont say that Work requires Work to be done?!
No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way. Who would have guessed. Lol.
But somehow it works in others quite well.
to provide a real example of why companies may regret putting the effort in, eve online, an mmo over 20 years old with corporations and alliances (clan equivalents) with membership numbering in the thousands or even tens of thousands and battles where each side numbers in the thousands putting the level of 'cooperation' in warthunder to shame, used to have voice chat but was removed.
because to actually make a voice chat with comparable features with teamspeak, ventrillo, mumble, discord etc would require the same sort of investment as those companies put into their standalone products, all for a feature not everyone will use because we all already have those third party programs which have the advantage of not being limited to a single game
and if you are not going to put that much effort in to actually be as good as those third party programs then why bother at all
its essentially lose-lose for the company, you can invest too much money competing with better products that have established userbases larger than any single game so can never fully displace, or you can half ass it and not have anyone use it. all while paying for the privilege with a much increased support workload with the inevitable abuse being reported
the developers of eve online on reflection of these facts decided to give up and stop supporting their ingame voice chat, and it affected the majority of their playerbase not at all
